The Moderator & Admin Activity section records the actions taken by the moderators and administrators of your forum, so you can review who changed what and when.

What is recorded

Each entry shows the action, the staff member who performed it, the date and time, and their IP address. The Details column shows what the action affected, such as the member, category, topic, or number of members involved.

• Member management. Banning and unbanning members, removing members from user groups, restoring or permanently deleting members, changing usernames and custom titles, adding members, and promoting members to administrator.
• Content moderation. Deleting, moving, locking, pinning, approving, and editing topics and posts, deleting polls, responding to reported posts, and deleting or restoring categories.
• Settings changes. Category and user group permissions, censored words, paid access plans, user group promotions, and IP address bans.

The history is permanent. Removing a moderator or restoring a deleted member does not remove their earlier entries from the list.

Reversing actions

Entries with an Undo button can be reversed directly from this page. This includes unbanning a member or an IP address, locking or unlocking a topic, pinning or unpinning a topic, and restoring a deleted category.

When you undo an action, the original entry stays in the list and a new entry is added recording the reversal, so both the action and its reversal remain visible. If an action has already been reversed, using Undo again displays a message and makes no changes.

Viewing the moderator & admin activity

Please follow the directions below to view the moderator and admin activity:

1. Log in to your Website Toolbox account.
2. Click the Categories link.
3. Click the Moderators tab.
4. Click the Activity link.
5. Select the appropriate options from the drop down menus to filter the results.
