Storage usage for the file uploading utility

If you are not familiar with what the File Uploading Utility is, please read this support article first.

Storage usage refers to the total amount of space that the files and photos uploaded to your forum are using.

Every file or photo uploaded to your forum has a specific size (e.g. 22K). The sum of the size of each file uploaded to your forum is the total amount of storage used.

If you exceed the allocated storage space, users will not be able to upload additional files. In this case, you can purchase one of our larger file uploading plans that allow more storage space and bandwidth, delete files that are very large, or disable file uploading.

You can view your current storage space usage by clicking here or by following the instructions below:

  1. Log in to your Website Toolbox account.
  2. Click the General link.
  3. In the General menu, click the Statistics link.
  4. Click the File uploading usage and statistics link.

You can control which users have permission to upload files by toggling the user group permissions related to file uploading.
