You can specify a template that appears as pre-filled text when someone starts a new topic in a category. Use it to guide users on what to include in their post—such as questions to answer or a structure to follow.

Here’s how to set it up:

1. Log in to your Website Toolbox account. If you don’t have an account yet, you can sign up here.
2. Click the Categories link.
3. Click New Category to create a new category or click the name of an existing category to edit it.
4. In the dialog that opens, look for the New Topic Message Template option.
5. Enter the questions or outline you'd like users to see when they start a new topic. For example:
   • What’s your question or idea?
   • What have you tried so far?
   • Any links or screenshots to include?
6. Click Save.

The template you’ve set will appear as pre-filled text in the message field when someone creates a new topic in that category. It encourages users to include the details you’ve requested, making their posts more complete and easier for others to respond to.
