The Website Toolbox MCP server lets you chat with your forum using AI. Our goal is to give you time back by making it easier and faster to manage your forum through simple written or verbal discussions with your AI. Ask questions, manage content, and get insights about your community, all through a conversation with Claude.

With it, you can:

• Browse, create, edit, and delete categories, topics, and posts.
• Manage users, user groups, and moderators.
• Send and read private messages.
• View tags, analytics, notifications, and more.

Setup for Claude Desktop

1. Open Claude Desktop. If you don't have it, download it here.
2. Download the .mcpb file.
3. In Claude Desktop, go to Settings (click your name at the bottom left, then the gear icon), then click Extensions in the left sidebar.
4. Click Install from file and select the downloaded .mcpb file.
5. When prompted, enter your forum's API key. You can find it in your forum's admin area under Integrate → API.
6. Start a new conversation with Claude and ask it something about your forum, like "Show me my recent topics" or "Create a new category called General Discussion."

Using other AI tools

This server works with any tool that supports MCP, including Hermes Agent and Cursor. For technical setup instructions with other tools, see the GitHub repository.
