Connecting to Google Search Console

You can follow the instructions below to add your Website Toolbox forum to the Google Search Console.

  1. Sign into your Google account. Make sure you're using your business (not personal) account if it's a business website.
  2. Go to Google Webmaster Tools.
  3. Click Menu icon.
  4. Click Add a property.
  5. Click URL prefix.
  6. Enter the URL of your forum. Make sure you're using the exact URL that appears in the browser bar.
  7. Click Continue.
  8. Click HTML tag button under Other verification methods.
  9. Copy the meta tag.
  10. Log in to your Website Toolbox account.
  11. Click the Appearance link.
  12. In the Appearance menu, click the HTML link.
  13. Insert the meta tag code (copied above) into the Forum Head Tag HTML Code text box.
  14. Click Save.
  15. Return to the page from where the meta tag was copied and click VERIFY button.
