It is not possible for a user to change their vote in a poll once it has been submitted. Each member is allowed one vote per poll, and any attempt to vote again shows the error "you have already voted on this poll." Votes are locked so that a poll's results cannot be shifted after other members have already seen them.

If a member selected the wrong option by mistake, a moderator or administrator can delete the option they voted for, which also deletes the votes cast for it and allows those members to vote again. A moderator or administrator can also delete the whole poll and post it again so that every member votes fresh. Only moderators and administrators can edit or delete a poll.
