Step-by-Step: Add Your Forum

Option A: Embed the Forum

  1. Visit shopify.com and log in to your account. If you don't have one, click Start free trial to create an account.
  2. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Pages.
  3. Click Add page.
  4. Enter Forum as the page title.
  5. Get your Website Toolbox embed code:
    1. Log in to your Website Toolbox account or create a new forum if you don't already have one.
    2. Go to Integrate Embed → Embed your forum and copy the embed code.
  6. In the Shopify page editor, click the Show HTML button (<> icon) in the content editor toolbar.
  7. Paste your Website Toolbox embed code into the HTML editor.
  8. Click Save.
  9. Add the Forum page to your navigation:
    1. Go to Online Store → Navigation.
    2. Click on your main menu (e.g., Main menu).
    3. Click Add menu item.
    4. Enter Forum as the name.
    5. Click the Link field, select Pages, and choose Forum.
    6. Click Add, then click Save menu.
  10. Visit your website. A Forum link will appear in the navigation. Clicking it opens a page with your forum embedded in it.
  11. Copy the URL of your published Forum page.
  12. Go back to Website Toolbox and paste the URL into the Where is the forum embedded? field in your Embed settings.

Option B: Link to the Forum

  1. Visit shopify.com and log in to your account. If you don't have one, click Start free trial to create an account.
  2. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Navigation.
  3. Click on your main menu (e.g., Main menu).
  4. Click Add menu item.
  5. Get your Website Toolbox forum URL:
    1. Log in to your Website Toolbox account or create a new forum if you don't already have one.
    2. Copy your forum URL from the browser address bar.
  6. Enter Forum as the name and paste your forum URL into the Link field.
  7. Click Add, then click Save menu.
  8. Visit your website. A Forum link will appear in the navigation, opening your forum in a new tab.
