Step-by-Step: Add Your Forum

1. Log in to your Ecwid admin at my.ecwid.com. If you don't have an account, click Get started on ecwid.com to create a free account.
2. From your Ecwid admin, go to Website in the left sidebar. This opens the Instant Site editor where you can manage your site's pages and sections.
3. Click the Add Section button (or the + icon) to add a new section to the page where you want the forum to appear. Select Custom Code from the section options. This lets you embed HTML, CSS, or JavaScript directly into the page.
4. Now you need your Website Toolbox forum URL or embed code:
   1. Log in to your Website Toolbox account or create a new forum if you don't already have one.
   2. Copy your forum URL. You'll need this for the linking approach.
   3. For the embedding approach, go to Integrate Embed → Embed your forum , and copy the embed code.

5. Option A: Embed the Forum

   1. In the Custom Code section you created, paste the embed code you copied from Website Toolbox.
   2. Click Save to apply the changes. The forum will now appear as a live section on your Ecwid page.

   Option B: Link to the Forum

   1. From your Ecwid admin, go to Website and open the Navigation settings for your Instant Site.
   2. Click Add Link and enter a label such as "Forum" or "Community".
   3. Paste your Website Toolbox forum URL as the link destination. Choose to open it in a new tab.
   4. Click Save to add the link to your site's navigation menu.
6. Click Publish (or preview your Instant Site) to make sure the forum section or link is working correctly on your live site.
7. If you chose the embedding approach, copy the URL of your published page where the forum is embedded. You can find it by visiting your Instant Site and navigating to the page with the forum section.
8. If you chose the embedding approach, go back to the Website Toolbox Integrate → Embed → Embed Your Forum section and paste your Ecwid page URL into the Where is the forum embedded? field.
