Joplin Schedule

Mandatory opening ceremonies will be Tuesday - 22nd, at 7:30 at The Carousal Park located at 3834 W. 7th Street, Joplin (a map of the park is on their website www.route66carouselpark.com). Wear a nice t-shirt or polo. No athletic shorts or cut-offs. Look presentable.

Our first game will be Wednesday at 1:00 at Seneca High School. We will play again at Seneca at 7:00 that same day.

Thursday we will have only one game which will also be at Seneca at 12:00.

post-season chaos

This has been an extremely frustrating week with two tournament cancellations and then a player shortage for Saturday evening, I knew it was going to be difficult getting everybody there on short notice. Hopefully we will get one or both of the rainouts rescheduled for next week. Mike mentioned the possibility of a game at bishop carroll, thats just a thought I had and I havent really looked into it any further. Keep an eye on your email and message board for any further information and I will let you all know when I find out anything else.

Tournament

The tournament has been cancelled because 2 of the teams pulled out but the dodgers coach and I have agreed to play a double header 6 and 8pm on Saturday night so we can still get some games out of it. Im sorry that the post season hasnt worked out how I wanted but at least this way we can get back the two games we didnt play last week. Besides I know Id like the chance to play the dodgers again since they are a team I think we should beat. Batting practice at 4:30pm in white uniforms. Please let me know if you cant make it.

Tourney and Practice

I still haven't heard from the tournament director about a schedule and so due to the late notice we will not have practice tonight. If our game time allows we will have batting practice before the game tomorrow. As soon as I get our schedule I will let you know on here and if it's really late I'll call.

Wednesday Game

Batting practice at 6:45pm. Wearing white uniforms, bring both. The kansas open post season tournament has officially been cancelled due to lack of teams. There are two options as I see it. We can finish out the league schedule and be done, or there is a tournament at southwest boys club THIS weekend we could play in. I don't have many details on this tournament right now except that it will be on a grass infield with 90 foot basepaths. I realize this is short notice and so I ask you to think about it and then we will have a parents meeting at the game tonight.

Tuesday Game rained out

As of 12:00 pm the westurban website shows all games for love field having been cacelled. You may want to check it at 4 to make sure nothing has changed and if I hear anything I will let you know.
