Sticky throttle pedal - Weber Alpha throttle bodies

Hi, Has anyone got any ideas why my accelerator pedal seems so stiff? The pedal is free enough, i put two new cables on and teflon coated them and the linkage on the throttle bodies feels good but once they are all connected together the pedal is really heavy and makes me look like a tw@t when i pull away as you can't get a smooth action. Is there a ratio problem with the Weber Alpha?

Set of USED rear lights for sale

Due to an impending change to led units (along with a lot more) I will have a set of tiger round rear lights for sale.

However one of the indicator lenses is cracked in half (needs replacement) and one of the red lights is not working (although I am sure this is wiring related).

So to sum up

4 x RED lights
2 x ORANGE lights (needs lens on one)
cost new from SVC 90

40 + postage (prob less than a fiver)

Rear Beam Mountings

I may be wrong but if the bonding between the rear suspension main beam rubber doughnut and the tube bushing fails on a Tigercat there seems to be nothing to stop the suspension collapsing. On the Sierra the bushing is sandwiched between the body and the lower plate so it can't collapse even if the bonding fails. This seems to me to be a major safety issue, any comments?

Steering Setup

Okay, my side panels are on, and I've cut the required 4 threads off the end of the rack. So, which kind soul can tell me how to line the wheels up please!? I'm sure this must have been covered before, but I've had a search and can't find anything.

Or is the simple answer to get it roughly right, then take it to the nearest garage/tyre place?

Avon damper settings

First track day at the weekend. Bit of a washout cos the fog stopped everything after 4 laps. But the car worked fine, despite the not-entirley-fun drive down in freezing fog! (Maplin heated waistcoat brilliant.)

But the instructor did suggest the back end needed tightening a bit as there was a bit too much wallowing and not quite enbough traction.

How many clicks on do people have the rear dampers? Shocks came with the kit so not wholly sure what springs they are but presume the same as most others!

Also - have the Tiger suggetsed tyre pressures - do people use these for Zetec Avons?

aeroscreen fixing

I have just bought a double bubble fibreglass aeroscreen off of fleabay for my supercat. Its quite nice but I have been offering it up and it clashes slightly with the windscreen slot on the scuttle. You can get it to fit with a bit of persuasion however there are no surfaces of the scuttle or screen that mate flat against each other(not sure if that makes sense!!). So I dont really know how to fix it, would glue be strong enough, I cant see rivets/screws working and not cracking the screen.

Any ideas?

This is from my R6, removed only because 'Santa' bought me a Tiger Race sump.

Raced with this sump and pick up at Cadwell Park with no problem at all.
