Ludo Haunts Halloween

Although Ludo won't be playing their annual Halloween show, they promise to bring plenty of spooks and delights during the November 20th "Ludo Shop of Horrors" show, in Columbus, Missouri at the the Blue Note. Until then, check out their myspace: it's got two new tracks The Horror of Our Love" and the confirmed new single, "Go-Getter Greg."

Pete Wentz Falls Out Over Penis Pictures

According to a recent interview with AbsolutePunk, the silent member of Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump (you know the lead singer) stated that Pete Wentz was so torn up over the leaked penis pics that he almost dropped out of the band. Rob Zombie Refuses to Let Sleeping Corpses Lie

Finally, after all this time, Rob Zombie has compiled nearly the entire White Zombie catalogue and packaged it for release in one handy boxed set. The collection, entitled Let Sleeping Corpses Lie, is slated for a November 18th release, and it will gather everything from the band's first foray into the New York Noise scene with their self-released E.P. Gods of Voodoo Moon up to 1995's seminal heavy metal masterpiece Astrocreep 2000 and the smattering of soundtrack and compilation cuts surrounding the bands' two major label releases (conspicuously absent is remix album Super Sexy Swingin' Sounds, as well as a handful of cassette-only tracks and unreleased early session outtakes). This is a big announcement for Zombie fans, considering that many of these albums have been out of print for as long as twenty years and many have never even been officially released on CD. The boxed set will contain five disks, over 4 1/2 hours of music and previously unreleased video footage. I know what I want to see under the Christmas tree this year...

Election News IMPORTANT

The story is all over Progressive Talk Radio today about the MCain
campaign sending absentee ballot applications to registered democrats
or people that have donated to Obama's camapign. These ballots are
dilberately misleading and have postage paid return addresses that are
for an election clerk that is outside of your city or town.

What this will end up doing is either having your vote not counted, or
if you return one of these, they will cite you for election fraud,
saying that you already voted absentee.These ballots are only being
sent out in 'purple states' and this is a big deal.. This is called
voter caging, and is a huge problem.

The McCain campaign is stealing this election as we speak. Please
get this information out to as many people as you can ,and tell anyone
you know who has received one of these ballots that they need to
contact their city election clerk or the supoervisor of elections
immediately. Also call the local media and let them know what is
going on.

The main stream media is never going to cover this so we have to
depend on our ground campaign to get the word out to our voters.

Rev Theory Joins Jager Music Tour

Keeping the rock giants and stadium kings on their toes, Rev Theory will follow up their successful summer road trip with the Jagermeister Music Tour this fall. The band will serve as direct support for Hinder and Trapt beginning October 24 in Magna, UT. Rev Theory spent their summer performing to sold-out arenas with Puddle of Mudd, living the life in Vegas, and rubbing elbows with Hollywood mainstays. After their rousing performance of Hell Yeah and Light It Up on Jimmy Kimmel Live in August, the band partied hardy at a special event at the Maloof household. Oh and guess what? Britney was there. So put that in your pipe and light it up.

Bleeding Through Chart At # 101

"Declaration" the latest release from Orange County metallers Bleeding Through has debuted at #101 on the Billboard Top 200! The album also appeared at #14 on the Indie Chart and #19 on the Hard Music Chart.

Declaration was produced by Devin Townsend and is said to be the band's darkest, heaviest and most extreme offering to date, while sacrificing none of the trademarked haunting melody of prior albums. It is the follow-up to Bleeding Through's 2006 album, The Truth, which saw the band grace the covers of Metal Edge, Outburn and Chord.
