STRONG!!!!!! CANDLE

HI I HAVE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE!!! I HAVE ORDERED FROM EVERY WHERE IT SEEMS AND EVERYONE HAS TOLD ME THEY HAVE STRONG CANDLES BUT THEY JUST ARENT SOOOO I HAVE DECUDED TO MAKE MY OWEN. I DONT NEED ANY COLOR AND JUST ONE SENT CINNIMON BUN SO COULD ANY ONE PLEASE TELL ME WHERE TO GET THE SENT???? AND ABOUT HOW MUCH AND I WANT IT TO SENT THE HOLE HOUSE!!! PLEASE EMAIL ME. Spraying Wax on Bears

I was reading about your bears, and I understood that you do not dip your bears now, but you spray them. What do you use to spray them? I am dying to try this. I went out tonight and bought 2 long haired bears, and 2 little Valentine dogs. I also use soy wax, will both (container and votive) wax work for this? I appreciate your help!

Test results for a couple scents from wick, wax and scents

I ordered 2 scents from wicks wax and scents and tried them in soy and thought you all would be interested the results. (from my understanding their scents are for parrifin) The 2 I tried were Cinnamon and Hot Apple Pie. Both were tested in GW464 soy wax. The cinnamon worked great! I had buyers tell me it was the strongest smelling candle in their house! However the Hot apple pie didn't have hardly any scent throw. So that one is not for soy.Alot of scents that work great in parrifin just don't work in soy, but when you find one that will, it makes a great candle! just thought you'd like to know. Maybe I'll try some more of their scents in soy and let you know

What happens to candle wax?

Migt sound a little odd, but my friends and I were just wondering what happens to candle wax when you burn it. As in...does it evaporate/burn into the air? If so, is that then not quite bad to breath in?

soy candle help

Hi, I am new to this candle making business and I am making soy container candles. So far, i am using Golden Wax (1 pour) from Alabaster Supply and scents from Bittercreek Supply(north). I am using 1.25 oz of scent per 1 lb. of wax. I heat the wax to 185 degrees, then pour it into a pouring container, cool to 175 degrees. I then add my scent, stir well, cool to 160 degrees and pour into jars or coffee mugs. So far the only problem I have noticed is that my wicks must have been to small. They only burned a hole in the mugs about 2" in diameter. So I now add 2 wicks per container. I was wondering if anyone has any advice on the way I am doing it or recommendations for a different product or technique. The trial and error part is overwhelming to me and I would love to get advice from seasoned candle makers who have already learned good techniques! Could u recommend a good wick to use? Also, my very most goal is to have huge scent throw. It is the most important quality in this area. People buy candles, here, that are ugly and expensive, just as long as it is known for strong smell while burning. I'm all ears!

3D Candle mold making

I would like to make a 4" black bear that resembles carved coal. Can anyone provide me with the steps and materials. I am a bee keeper and will use beeswax. I understand how to dye the wax, the rest is a mystery! I will make the candles with and without wicks.

Clear Parafin

Does anyone know where a person could get hard clear parafin wax for candle projects. Instead of using gel wax you would use hard clear parafin wax? Seen this project at Yankee.
