Oh my goodness, what a beautiful picture! Where did you get the wings and stars. I noticed 'fairy dust' too on the water. Please advise. I have a set of twins to photograph. Wow....good job

Collages/storyboards?

Hi, all. I'm working on my price list at the moment and would very much like to add collages to my services. I was just wondering what you all charge for your collages. Do you charge the same $$ as you would for a normal print, or slightly more depending on the difficulty? Any input would be great, as I am trying to put my materials together for a booth I have coming up in a month.

Drunk mom! Anyone else have this situation?

Okay, so I did a portrait session for my friend's aunt last weekend (july 5th) with her kids, one of the boys' girlfriend, and their new baby. So I get to the house, and nobody is dressed co-ordinated (not a big deal, I guess) the only place to shoot with decent light was a tiny corner of her cement backyard, and for the big group picture she specifically tells me she doesn't want the girlfriend in the picture because "they ain't married and who knows if she's stickin' around". To top that off, she was still HUNG OVER for the night before and left the portrait session once I was done with her shots to go puke in the bushes!!! Has anyone ever had anything remotely close to this? It's kind of one of those sessions that you have to laugh about later, but holy cow! I will post some of the pics later because I'm not at my computer right now. The pictures actually turned out pretty good, considering what I had to work with

I just purchased the Impact 42" 5-in-1 reflector discs, which came with no directions on folding it back into three small circles to place it back in the carrying case. Does anyone know how to fold the disc back up?

I am a beginner at all of this, and I am about to make my purchase of Photoshop. I started out with Element 5.0, but am thinking bigger now. What is the difference between Photoshop CS2 and CS3? All honesty is always appreciated.

I just joined this forum and am looking forward to some insightful discussion :)
My business is www.heartland-treasures.com I specialize in baby/children/pet photography and creative birthday parties.

I'm an experienced web designer and creative junkie and am fairly new to photography but I am armed with using what I know, learning as much as I can and faith that God will lead me right along.

I'm a mother of 3. I recently lost my 14 year old daughter. She was brutally murdered. She was the 2nd of my 2 beautiful daughters. I then was blessed with a son. My life will never be the same and I would say that being on this journey of grief and healing is an exceptional challenge for starting a new business.
My daughter was my biggest fan and knew how much I loved Photography. I am doing it for her and pray that I will be able to touch many, many lives in the beautiful process of honing my craft.

I have a ton of questions so I'm going to hop around on the other boards!

Booked my first wedding!

I just recently booked my first wedding for this October! I am so excited about it! I hope you all can give me some suggestions on what equipment you suggest for weddings (lenses, new camera, flashes, etc...). Here is what I have:

First Wedding!!!

So this last Saturday, July 5th, was my first wedding shooting solo. I was so excited, and it was so fun. I absolutely love my job. I am extremely sore and it was 104 degrees outside, but other than that the wedding was beautiful and I was extremely proud of myself. It was a lot of work, but so worth it. Hopefully soon I will have them processed since I shoot in raw format...a lot of extra work, but I absolutely love the quality and believe it is worth the extra time. I have read so much on this forum old and new and believe that with everybody's experiences and stories and suggestions made it a smooth and successful first wedding. Thanks!! Now I am totally feening for another=)

What would you buy? Ill buy it if you have it?

I am new here. I just started my blog spot for my business. if any of you are interested in viewing it go ahead it should display in my signature.

I need some advice. I am wanting to upgrade my camera for my business. I bought hte canon rebel xt and well am mad I rushed into the purchase and dint think first. Thanks to the stimulus I am getting I want to buy a nice camera that I can afford.

I love the canon product and have used a nikon in a studio I use to work at.

would you buy a Nikon D80 or a Canon EOS 40?

Please help me make an informed decision. I need good advice.I am looking on Ebay to buy one.. if any of you have one for sell let me know.

My other question is that my husband thinks I should just keep the canon rebel xt i have an buy some accessories like a better lens ( i have the one it came with ) and some external flashes, 5 in 1 reflectors... what do you think would be a better deal.

help.. I could really use some encouragement..

My sister in law had some photos takenof my 1.5 yr. old neice at a studio near her home and they used a large flower looks like it may hvae been a daisy. It had air that blew up through it , made the baby look directly into the flower it was perfrct!! Any suggestions where I can fine this prop?

I am making a slideshow for a 50th anniversary party.

Has anyone ever done one. I have been scanning all the pictures and have them on a cd so far.

I would love to put a song on it too. Can anyone help me with this? What will I need etc. We are going to play the slideshow on our flat screen tv.
