This is Brenda MacMillan's new website. She is changing her last name since she's divorced and I assume her business will have a new name (not sure if it will be "B Marie Photography" or not). My husband and I finally got our wedding reprints and photo album, but we got it 1 year and 6 months after our wedding. Do not use her! My husband and I were married on 11/25/2006--well over a year ago!--and we used Brenda MacMillan of B MacMillan Photography (www.bmacmillanphoto.com) and she ripped us off. Do not use her. Brenda came highly recommended by close friends and family who had used her photography services for their weddings within the last 5-8 yrs, but apparently her work ethic has gone down the tubes since then. We paid for our wedding package in full the week before the wedding. The package was for our several hours of coverage at our wedding and reception, our wedding proofs (ours to keep), and after choosing 30 of our favorite photos, those photos would go into a personalized wedding album. We also ordered reprints after the wedding for family members, but those were to be paid for when we got them. As of today's date, all we have received are our wedding proofs. We have no book. Our parents and family members have no professional wedding photos of us. Brenda ignores every voicemail and email we send. The last time she responded to any contact from us was in 2/2008 after a complaint about her aired on WQAD. We've registered a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but she ignored them too. No one else should have to be treated this way and pay thousands of dollars for wedding proofs. Do not use her, and spread the word to your friends.

Hi Ladies,

I was married about a year and a half ago. After getting married, I designed thank you postcards and got them printed at Vista Print. Everyone loved them! Three friends loved them so much, that now I am designing their thank you cards for their weddings. Since they all loved them, I figured maybe you ladies would love them too. If you need someone to design your thank yous, I am willing to do it for $30. This includes photo editing of the photos you are using for the thank you (touch-ups, mixed color and black & white, etc.). If you want me to order them for you from Vista Print, I will do so at cost.

Reception Halls

We are looking for reception hall ideas. My fiance and I are not particular to a date or a place (just preferably in the QC). We thought about a hotel, so our guests have the convenience of staying. To cut down on cost, though, we know a good caterer, but can't find a place in the QC that allows you to bring your own caterer. Any suggestions? Thanks!
