I'll be brief. I launched this comic on Halloween of this year. Originally it was meant to be a feature film project that turned to a TV show pilot...which then finally became a graphic novel because the budget I was working with couldn't keep a film project afloat for too long.

Check it out, it's pretty cool. I'm new to all of this but I've been in the movie making field for a while now. I have a good idea of what I've been working on for the last year or so. Thanks!

Scale wars

Hi all,been looking around at all the great comics out there and thought I would toss mine into the ring. Its called scale wars and is the story of the toy world going to war. 1:18th town is the setting and toys of all scales are attacking it. Its a mix of humor and action (or at least an attempt at such). It sis currently up to chapter 5 (six should be up very soon) and I hope you enjoy it:

Also available is the prequeal to Scale wars: Toxie's 1:18th Universe. It's nessissary to read in order to enjoy scale wars, but is still very fun. This has more of a comedy bend to it. It also introduces many of the key players in scale wars (even though we really kind of know them already).

Hey guys, i recently created my own comic (which is untitled at the moment!!) but i really wanted to print it and publish it myself. Someone referred me to www.speedypress.com..apparently they print anything and everything. So i took my comic there and they did an impressively nice good job..it was affordable too..ima college student and theres no way im gonna pay extra for stuff! so check it out, just wanted to spread the word!

Planet Tomek

Hello everyone,
My name is Tom. My wife and I are the creators of Planet Tomek. Check us out!!!

On www.planettomek.com we pose our 12" custom action figures within our handmade sets. The action figures are a society, living on an asteroid which haphazardly orbits the Earth every 17 1/2 days. They feel they've met the requirements, as a civilization, to be upgraded from "asteroid" to "planet"...the next 9th planet, in fact, since the galactic demotion of Pluto.

We had been building this world and conceptualizing our stories for a couple years and officially got the site running May 1st '07. As the dates and archives indicate, we are new to the photo comic/webcomic world, officially, anyhow...we started Planet Tomek, originally named Toy Souldiers, on myspace a couple years ago by posting a few of our stories as slideshows. Everyone seemed to love it and it was way too much fun doing! We stuck with the slideshow format for the first 9 releases of Planet Tomek but have started updating our comic as single pages, weekly. The cast page offers some character profiles, interests, etc...with music featured on each characters bio page in a "What I'm listening to now" format.

We've also created Evil G3rms from inner space (www.evilg3rms.com) and Firehose JOE (www.firehosejoe.com) which are hosted on the Planet Tomek website as well. It was an absolutely thrilling year (busy as hell - as you all know, more than us!) and it's really cool to look back and see what we've built thus far.
I have actually been a member of this site since August but somehow in my boneheaded fashion forgot my original sign in name. That's why I have not signed in or introduced myself until now.

Anyway, It is really cool to be in PWC with the likes of all y'all and your amazing...considerable...collective works!
