I was in Auburn Indiana with an antique auto group on Thursday August 21 and ran into Audie Blaylock at the Duesenberg Museum. Audie is a friend and a car nut like myself, and joined our group the next day for a visit to The Gilmore Museum and another private collection. Karen and I spent the day with him and had a chance to talk a lot of bluegrass. He is anxious to play for us in November and showcase his great new band, and is hoping for a full house. Let's not disappoint him. You will be rewarded with one of the best concerts of the season from one of the top bands in the country

Those of you that did not come to the show last night missed a really great one. The crowd was small , the music was maybe, the best of the year. All are great musicians. Mike Auldridge is probably the greatest dobro player of all time and worth the price of admission by himself.

Jon Raemore, Myself, and the rest of the music committee are busy putting together the winter concert lineup for 2008-09 winter season starting in October. Passing of Edgar Paul "Butch" Neal

This email is to let friends and family know that, at 11:00pm., Thursday, April 24th, that 91 yr. old Edgar Paul Neal passed away at St. Joseph Hospital. He was tough and he fought the good fight and will be sorely missed by many people, but I'm sure he's already a member of the Angel Band. Pray for strength for the family.
