I have the '86 version on dvd (along with MY BLOODY VALENTINE) and thought it was 80s cheese all the way with the WORST twist ending Ive ever seen in a horror film (HINT: They used a similar endin in CRY WOLF).

anyone seen the remake? (Its directed by the ame guys that did THE HAMILTONS). Think its anygood?

So once again this year I'm going to the FANTASIA festival, which is a festival that shows independent movies from all around the world. I'm not saying anything else because you can find all the necessary information on the site.

I am going this friday, we are going to see THE OBJECTIVE and THE ASSEMBLY. Of course, there's a lot more interesting films, but I live 1h40 from there and I'm going with a bunch of friends and we all work so blablabla...

DRIVE-IN SUPER MONSTER-RAMA

Ever wish you could go into a time machine and go back to a time when life was much more simple, but far more fun? Well, here it is! DRIVE-IN SUPER MONSTER-RAMA is two nights of classic horror and science fiction 35mm prints presented at an authentic drive-in movie theater. There will be two big shows on two consecutive nights which will start at dusk and go on until really late into the night! This is the second year in a row that we are hosting such an event, so we encourage all East Coast drive-in movie fanatics to attend and make it another rousing success! What could be better than a weekend getaway topped off with two nights of classic monster movies on the big outdoor screen? We realize that everything is so expensive these days, but admission is only $10 a person each night! Plus, children 12 and under are free with parent or adult guardian. How can you beat that? The Riversides concession stand is loaded with reasonably priced goodies, including hot foods, hot and cold drinks, candy, popcorn and much more!

What is being shown and when?

On Friday, September 12, the features will be Cry of the Banshee, Frogs, George Romeros Night of the Living Dead and The Crazies.

On Saturday, September 13, the features will be Blacula, Return of Count Yorga, Dracula vs. Frankenstein and Werewolf vs. The Vampire Woman.

Each night we will also present an array of vintage monster movies trailers in between the features which we know you will just love! This year, we might even have a few surprise short subjects!

DRIVE-IN SUPER MONSTER-RAMA will be held at the Riverside Drive-In Theatre in Vandergrift, PA. For the dates of September 12 and 13, the theater will devote its screen exclusively to these special nights of vintage entertainment. Just in case anyone TiVo'd or taped it for later viewing. I think I'll color the rest of my text white to make it harder to read... there is a question involved though, so if anyone did watch it, please read it so I can have possible answers...

At the end, did it turn out she was the killer or her brother (Dressed like her, hence why someone would get the note confused and want it sent to him)?
If it was her, as her expression and tone at the end implied, how come she didn't catch on that the note was about her much much earlier? And in fact if it was about her brother, still, why not, the apartment seemed to not be hiding any of the killings... I dunno, if it were me and I was a killer or my live-in brother was a killer, and I got a note regarding a local serial killer... I'd pretty much be connecting dots in my head and assuming that the chances of me and my future husband or my brother and my future husband both being killers being very remote, but the chances of someone mixing up a note... very likely...

Perhaps just me... or perhaps I missed the whole point because I was busy posting here at the time

According to Lucius's news, the Devils isn't going to get released. I was definitely interested in seeing it.

I don't get it. The company owns the rights to the movie and can shit out some DVDs of it to appease the few thousand of us who will watch it. Instead, they just lock it up so no one can see it. All that does is force us to give a bootlegger our dough instead of giving it to them.

I expected a hell of a lot more. Evil child ghosts must love torturing plain featured oriental women. I really enjoyed Tokyo Shock's offering of Ichi The Killer, but with all the technical issues on the Art of the Devil disc, I'm now hesitant to buy Machine girl; which looks pretty bad ass. Fucking Media Blasters.
