I just read these 2 books again for the second time. Again I am in awe of the books! I just love them, out of everything you have written they are my favorite. I can't wait until the next book comes out!!!

Wats In Store For Readers In 2008?

Hello Karen......

I love the enjoyment that I get from your book. You don't leave your readers disappointed and I think that your books are value for moneyI am a fan of your talents for words, plots, characters and creativity which you incorporate into your books. I have almost read all of your books that I can get my hands on but some of yours book are out of print so it is hard to find them but there always Christmas.:-D

I finished reading your current book The Scottish companion...., I really enjoyed creativity of the characters and the plots was very intriguing, whilst engaging the readers, emotionally and giving them a journey filled with mystery and suspense

There five things that I was wonder about..I hope you dont mind answering them

What is in store for readers in 2008 (I am dying to know)?

What is the new books (The Devil Wears Tartan) about, is it part of new series?

Are you continuing with Scottish Victorian period or are you will you go into new time periods?

What characters, plots, or periods would you like to do in 2008?

What should book is coming back in print in 2008?

Karen, I just wanted    to let you know how much I LOVED!!! your newbook... Grant and Gillain were the best,Grant was esp. AWESOME!!!! I love the fact that sometimes a good read has a little pain, to go along with the happy ending... you are the one author who is truly fearless, in that way... noone does it better...I practically inhaled that so I have to read it again soon... I just wanted to know what's next and when.. (I know fans are relentless!!!)No more series writing for you , I know...I also wanted to ask if you needed a proof reader,.... a free proof reader.
      You'll always be one of my favs... I still re-read almost all your books every month, one or the other..

Linda Howard, Elizabeth Lowell and Cindy Gerard

Why doesn't Rhapsody re-release in hardcover some of
Elizabeth Lowell, Linda Howard, Susan Elizabeth Phillips (Heaven Texas). I have checked Amazon.com and E-Bay and they
want a fortune. They re-released all of Sandra Browns books
in hardcover.

I would also like to know why Cindy Gerard's book "Under the
Wire" was not released by Rhapsody as a hardcover, the rest of the series was.

Some of Linda Howard's and Elizabeth Lowell's older books
are so much better. Though they are still excellent authors, it has gotten to the point, where I can't remember what it was about after reading it (the so called romantic suspense). On the earlier ones, even if I haven't read them in a long time, I REMEMBER WHAT AND WHO IT WAS ABOUT. I would absolutely love for the Only His, Only Mine, Only Yours and Only Love to be released in Hardcover. Is there any chance of this.

My home was burglarized last week, and the little darling trashed my office, stole my new computer, and basically complicated my life.

Good news - I had backed up the new book - due August 1 - on to my IPod. Not so good news - that's the ONLY file I backed up. Grrr to me.

Anyway, so sorry about the delay in getting to all my emails. I have ressurected an ancient computer, deleted the seventeen thousand resident viruses, and am accessing the Internet very slowly....

Also, I think you are hilarious. I was reading some of the things you said about your book and even some of you FWIW and I was laughing out loud. It's great to read the backstory of your books and your thoughts about them.

Karen,

I was moved by the story of Hamish and Mary. I felt like there was so much more to learn about them. I would love to see a follow up about their relationship. If not that, maybe another story with similar characters that deal with those deep emotions. For me that was the most intense book of the series and I enjoyed every moment of it.

Foreign Language Versions

I sold to Russia again. I honestly don't know how many books of mine have been translated to Russian. If I guessed, I'd say twelve. This time they bought When the Laird Returns.
