Jazzhooves: a welcome return

After an absence of some months, jazzhooves podcasts have returned to the internets airwaves and I for one would like to say how welcome they are.

Many thanks must go to Leigh who continues to entertain us every month with excellent podcasts filled with the best that the organ world has to offer.

The new video showing how to multi-track is very good. I have followed your video and am now messing about with the keyboards multi track section.
I would find a video on how to save my recording to wav. Are you planning any more videos?

Wersi Atlantis for OAS

Hi,

after bringing out the OAS-sound editions CD-Organ, Galaxis, Helios, Helios-Comet many people asked for special sounds that were played on the Atlantis - especially the Atlantis in the version that Franz Lambert played. That means e.g. that there is a special Wersivoice Sinus-Sound that no standard instrument could play or that there are some modifications to sounds like Synthebrass, Fairlight, Galaxy that make the sound brighter.

After some work I had about 40 sounds that are registered in this way.

These sounds are available in a new sound-edition for OAS4.1 til OAS7.

D50-Sounds for OAS

Hi,

some of you may know me. I sampled the sounds for Wersi's Sound-Editions CD-Organ, Galaxis, Helios and Helios-Comet. Some users in Germany asked whether there are sounds of the legendary Roland D-50 synthesizer. Which came out in 1986/87.

So I bought a D50. Now eight sounds of it are available for OAS4.1 to OAS7. Here are some demos.

Jazzhooves No Update?

Hi, Everyone

Why is Jazzhooves not updating with it's podcasts etc? I have read through some posts and it seem that leigh has been moving premises but this was sometime ago. I like most of you really enjoy the podcasts and information. I think leigh probably works very on the site alone and really must take a lot of his time up, he really does need appreaciating and thanking for his efforts. So keep up you hard work leigh if you need any help with content and all that stuff i think there must be lots of us out that could possible help out, after all we are all trying to keep this hobby and pastime alive. "aren't we"?

searching a lowrey wah trompet sound

Hi folks,

someone asked me to build a wah trumpet sound like in the lowrey organ. As I have never heard that sound and have no idea where to begin (music is like color - there are milions of variations) maybe someone could help me on a song or wave where that sound in. I realy like to help this person out because for me it's a chalenge but I have no clue where to begin. So if someone could be so quint?

Wersi rew 00.34 is here - can we audition the FL addons?

Hello,

It is with argus eyes that I watch the comming of revision 00.34 because this is the one with the new Frans Lambert voices/presets. I was hoping they let us try for some time the addons and then let us decide if we want them or not because the price tag is high (no dought about that) and to give away so much money must be wel founded so if you not have the posibility to experience how good they are well . . . . .

So I installed the new rev 00.34 today but have seen no posibility yet to audition the new samples and presets. Is there a way ? Maybe someone else could give a clue?

At last a Hammond Expert has placed both alongside and done an exact comparison! You will be amazed!

Anybody who has been doubtful about buying a NORD C1 will definitely be impressed!

Organ Teachers! HELP!!!!!

Can anyone help me?
I have been trying in vain to find an electronic organ player in Bournemouth to help me perfect my playing.

I play on a wersi spectra and am at a fairly competent level - however I would like to play professionally and need some tutoridge to iron out the creases in my performance.

Does anyone know of anybody that can help me, as I can not find anyone.

Said, very said indeed! Yet another wersi site that goiing down the drain duy to a update of the site that went wrong and no backup to replace and to much work to put it together again. What was to become a nice site to learn and share is gone. In my opionion (strickt personal) the site is not fequently visited and therefore not interresting enough to put in all the hard work again! Maybe if we al send a request to Richard (the site owner and also one of the founders or yourhobby organ portal) to say how said we feel abouth closing the site he wil change his mind.
