IRS Stimulus Refund Check

Just wondering if anyone has received their check yet?

I went to www.irs.gov to find that mine should be coming end of June. Nice to get a little money for a change. This will help pay for gas now that it costs us a small fortune.

I just wanted to wish all you moms out there a Happy Mother's Day! Thank you for all you do and hopefully something special is planned for your day. Even though I don't have any children Stan stills say "You're a mother all right!" Ha Ha. I do have him and Buster to take care of so good enough for me. I am having the florist send a beautiful Favorite Mothers Bouquet to mom this week. I think next year it's gonna be chocolates.

Hey Folks,

This will be the third time that Stan has noticed gas missing from his truck. When we got in the truck this morning he noticed it again. Last night on his way home he filled up at $150 and this morning reads less than 1/4 of a tank. He is furious. I called the Sherriff's office this morning and they said they saw on TV yesterday about gas being stolen everywhere. I also talked with Officer Ruby who patrols the night shift and he will have extra officers patrol our area through the night. There is a garage down the road that stores truck, vans, mobile homes, etc. and they had such a problem with vandals that he fenced in the entire area, put up cameras and has two German Shephards that when passing in our car have heard them barking. Before doing all this had guys stay up over night with guns and actually busted a few of the idiots(I'm being nice).

My daughter has been prescribed tysabri by her neuro but has been told by the infusion center that her co-pay will be $700. NORD has no funding at present. Are there any other options out there?

Does anyone know a website where I can check out information on my new neuro.? His own office couldn't give me any information; i.e., where he went to school, where and when he got his degree, where he was licensed, etc. His name is Javier Taboada but I'll be durn if I can find out anything about him. I've only been to him once and I really like him but it concerns me that no one knows anything about him? Help.

Has anyone heard of that or been given that? My new neuro. gave me samples and a written prescription. It's for help with cognitive problems - and I have major problems. But what I've just read on the Internet it sounds like a really scary thing and the "Dr." had just passed it off as a "vitamin." Anxious to hear any of your comments. (I haven't taken it yet.)

I see this this morning in the Wall Street Journal

Rituxan, a top-selling drug from Genentech Inc. and Biogen Idec Inc., failed to slow the course of the most severe form of multiple sclerosis in a large study, the companies said.

It went on to say that on a trial of the companies' study, which followed 439 patients for 96 weeks, Rituxan didn't significantly slow the course of the disease, which gradually robs patients of motor function and causes tremors, tingling and fatigue. Secondary results -- like whether Rituxan improved MRI scans of patients' brains -- weren't released.

In a smaller study last year, Rituxan slowed down the less-severe form of MS, which has several approved drugs, including Biogen's Avonex and Tysabri. The companies have disagreed over what to do next. The matter is subject to an arbitration hearing this summer.

Hi Everybody,

What a beauiful day! Sunny and 70 degrees. The appraiser for Quicken Loans (Bill) came out today and thankfully it's a much nicer day than when Chase's appraiser came out in the snow. Bill was with Stan from 10:30 - 12:30. Stan felt it went very well. Bill said it would be finished by the end of this week. We worked our duffs off over the weekend up until he arrived to making sure the house looked good. Stan and his cousin worked on the outside from cutting the grass to scrubbing the siding to look brand new. I worked inside from dusting, vacuuming, laundry, dishes, emptying all garbage cans and straighting/unclutering everything to make things look nice. Even though appraisers say I don't care how clean your house is I'm looking at other things. It still is nice to present a well taken care of home. That way he knows you care and more likely to appraise higher. We'll see HOPE FOR $130,000!!!!

I visited with Katie, Branch Manager, VP at Huntington Bank today and she was very excited about my decision to bring everything to Huntington. She gave me the low-down of the accounts/services available. Everything is free with additional free services like $500 in overdraft protection, free non-ATM use. As soon as this refi is over I'll start switching my $.

Hi Everyone,

Just thought I would start a new block to see if anyone is out there? I've never seen it this quite.

Anyhoo.......it's wet and cold and expected to rain through the weekend. Pretty dark and gloomy. Just glad it's not snow. It can always be worse (did someone say, I've heard that before?) This would be a good time to throw some grass sead out on those bare spots.

Hope everyone is doing fine and staying dry. Not sure what your weather is but here it's just WET.

Hard time getting hold of neuro

Does anyone have problems getting in touch with their neuros? Dr Wittman is my neuro and it's impossible to get in touch with him when I am having problems. I mentioned this to someone else here locally, and they are having the same problem with those doctors at the Neurological Associates here. I'm glad I didn't start on that Tysabri because if I had run into trouble the doctor certainly wouldn't have been around to fix it! I guess I need to find a new doctor though there aren't alot of them around in my area.
