How do you tryout for the team? I was on our college team as a freshman this year and would like to continue practicing or playing with a quality team to keep up my skill level. I am a pitcher (rt hand) and also can play 3rd and short. Please let me know

mini-plan tickets

Mr. Morgan & staff,
My son & I enjoy attending Pilots' games whenever we can. When we can tends to change week by week. I am dissapointed to see that the mini-plans are so restrictive as to which day of the week you may use the tickets. A couple years ago you offered a half-season ticket, which allowed the purchaser to attend one half of any of the home games - no matter what day it was. If you could re-institute something like that, it would work so much better with my ever-changing schedule. I appreciate your consideration, as well as all you have done over the years to keep the team on the Peninsula and fix up the stadium. (Can't wait to see that new scoreboard)

Yo Pilots... Big Markie here.. its time to get this big fan some gear. I know I hounded you guys last year for some big boy cloth so hopefully I'm hitting you early enough this year. If we can get some 3x and 4x year... you guys have no idea how many big fellers you've got in the stands that would proudly display the Pilots gear.. including that crazy Big Bird that I'm telling you this year is gonna end up on my grill.

Lemmie know if I can get some Big threads!!!..

For those of you that may have read this weekend's Daily Press Sports section, you might have seen that the DP is doing a sports survey. We encourage you to check out the survey at www.dailypress.com/sportsurvey/ or fill out the survey from the paper and don't forget about your Peninsula Pilots. Send the link to anyone that supports the Pilots and have them go through the survey as well. Be patient and make sure you get through the whole survey as the question about the Pilots is a few questions into the survey. Also, any comments about the new scoreboard are welcomed. How is everyone doing? The season is right around the corner and we are working hard to make this a fun and exciting season. We are working on our promotional calendar for this season and while we think we have some good ideas, I thought I would ask for any feedback from our fans. Whether it's something that you thought was great and we need to do it again, or it was bad and we need not do it, or any new ideas. Give us your thoughts and feedback.
