Maybe I am wrong, but I haven't seen the course in this good of shape at this time of year for a few years. Weather conditions or whatever, I think we should congratulate Josh and his crew for the job that they have done.

Grass mound on #1

There was some confusion during the Club Tournament about how to play out of the grass mound on #1 fairway. It was questioned if it was ground under repair, a hazard area, or if it should be considered just long rough. My suggestion to end the confusion is to remove the mound and plant a tree there.

Club Tournament

I would like to thank Kathy and her staff and Josh and his crew for helping with the Club Tournament. The course was in excellent shape. The pro shop ran very smooth and Kathy helped with the tournament. This saved me a lot of time. Thank you to all.

Financial statement

Upon reading the May board meeting minutes it was mentioned that the financial statement needed an adjustment and then it would be presented for board approval. My question is, can the membership have access to the financial statement also? Maybe it should be posted online also as the minutes of the meetings are. If not is there an avenue for anyone that is a member to review the financial statements.

Thanks to all for the great job Saturday at the Booster Tournament. The course was in excellent condition, service upstairs, downstairs, and during the golfing and awards/supper was something we all can be proud of.
