The website address is usedrides.com , and than you search for Super Shot. It's the 2nd listing when you search for it. Or, they could be showing off what they just sold (ARM).

State Fairs

Does Windy City, Skinner, Fantasy, Modern, All Around, Big H, Alpin, Spectacular, and Wilson have any state fairs of there own? Modern use to have the Georgia state fair when they were Mid West Midways and Spectacular use to be at the Illinois State Fair.

midway videos

got to check out the midway videos, they are cool, and if you check out the vids for the freakout, and look to the left, you will see me running it, if you are trying to figure out who i am lol, number 1 and 2 was the music i was playing, number 3 was another person, was not my doing, and number 3 you will not see me in it, awesome video brian, videos were taken when we were at buffalo grove days, they turned out great, check them out, all of them are great, but with the smoke machine and strobes and lightshow, it is great. the videos in freakout were taken by brian and swa. the reason for the short ride, we were packed at that time, so i threw it on stage 3, that is 45 seconds, stage 1 is 2.5 minutes, stage 2 is 1 minute 45 seconds.

Amor express

Does anyone out remember Astro's Amor Express in the early 80's? Didn't it take two trucks to haul & 8 hrs to set up. I thought Astro had a trailer specially painted for it too. If anyone has any info on that ride, I would love to read about it. It was the pride of Astro for years.

October carnival correction

I stand corrected on the Elgin October carnival. The company is actually Big H Amusements, not Central Illinois Amusements. Their slide carries the name of Central Illinois. The lot manager told me the slide was bought from the other carnival, amd they don't display their logo on any equipment.

October carnival

If anyone is interested, there is an October carnival. It's located on Randall Rd just north of I-90, in Elgin. It's at Randy's farm. The show is there all month & Central Illinois Amusements is the company. They have older equipment. The line-up is: Tilt-a -Whirl, Scooters, Berry-go-round, two carousels, an older hampton umbrella ride, super slide, two other kiddie rides that I don't know the name of. I got some photos yesterday during set-up. I'm going back tomorrow to get some more pics. It's a Halloween carnival.
