DErections: take 295 to exit 10 (Cumberland-Mendon Rd.). If youre taking 295 north, turn left at the light and drive through three lights (traffic, blinking, traffic) on Mendon. Take a right JUST after the 3^rd light (at Angell Rd.) onto Store Hill Rd. At the bottom of Storehill, turn right and park in the upper parking lot, just before the train tracks, for the Blackstone River bikepath. Cumming from the north? You know how to get here!

Misdirections:

From Prov. take I-95 north into Mass,

take exit 5 for Rt. 152, turn left at end of exit,

then left again onto Rt. 152 north,

continue approximately 3 miles to intersection of Rt. 106,

turn left onto Rt. 106 west,

continue for one mile and turn right on Rt. 1 north,

travel about 1/2 mile and turn left onto George St. after Dunkin Donuts,

continue straight for 1/2 mile onto E. Skinner Rd,

travel another 1/2 mile and Eagle Scout Camp will be on the left.

From Boston take I-95 south and at exit 6 take I-495 north,

at the next exit (14) take Rt. 1 south,

Hash of the last day of March 08

It takes a man to fess up his mistakes, and Amish is that man. Last week he said, "Join the hare for an uplifting experience surrounded by the most heavenly shiggy in RI." He was close and accurate. There was shiggy and we were surrounded, but unfortunately our feet did not penetrate. He said, "Bath in its glory, or laugh at its patheticness." Well we would have had to get wet to bathe, and it was not funny from where this weeks Hare sat.
So, if I may quote him here, he said, "If there is shiggy, you must touch it, taste it, roll in it if you must, but never ignore the truth. Shiggy will set you free."
He just got back from setting trail and wanted to pass along some advice. There was a deer on trail. One almost so close you could feel his hot breath as it lay beside the cold stone wall, waiting for the rush of feet to pass. But the path changed direction and crossed the stone wall and the crouching Odocoileus Virginianus quickly jumped from his lair and stole away into the forest.
He left behind a few deer ticks, so the Hare suggest that it may be advisable to bring some spray.

For those coming from the north - take 95S to RT4S to exit 5B (102 west). Follow 102W for approximately 2.7miles to the intersection at Sunderland Rd, take a right onto Sunderland and park where you can (good luck!).

For those WHO will be coming from the south - RT4N to exit 5, left onto 102W and follow directions above.

Ras na hEirann

Next Sunday, Mar 16 is the Ras na hEirann in Slumerville, MA. This has become an annual hash event for the RIH3, mostly because Trail Hoover opened up her flat for us to pre-lube, and Swallows My Pride hosted the after-party on the parade route in Southie. Well, the bimbos have let us down this year. SMP is getting married. SESYB is playing with long thick icicles in the White Mountains. Pathetic! But WHO, Amish, Fuwangi, Swamp Whine and Basket (Oozing, RU?) are persisting and will be sucking down free beers while they last after the r*ce. The Boston H3 is having a hash hared by none other than Cream Whora at 2 in Watertown; this will likely be the next step after we're thrown out of the bars.

Registration is closed, so anyone WHO has decided to come along will have to be a "bandit". The dress code as always, is "authentic" Kilt and whatever else makes you look silly.

hi, all
thanks for all the the hints this weekend (esp boston hashers .. and -- both -- the copious flow of alcoholic beverages)

please though, if you want to see a properly run hash, make your way out to Tucson at the end of the month whenwe hold our twice annual "Hash de Tucson", which comprises a pay as one goes pub crawl on friday, then a remarkably cheap day of four hashes (A-to-B at 10 sharp,B-C after circle at noon sharp, C-to-D at 2 sharp, and D-to-E at 4 sharp then party all night (catered) and a Sunday hangover hash...I can'tromise what we hadin the fall but it included taking a car to Mexico and setting it afire...something to aim for this half year. your pediliction for singing will be much appreciated as long as you are ableto stay on your fee throught the weekend's festivities.

And, it's at the end of spring training for you baseball fans!

Thinking only of the comfort, convenience and pleasure of the members of the RIH3, your hare for next Monday, Feb 25^th, has once again scoured the countryside for new and exciting territory for the hash. And what a find he has made! Combining fine urban shiggy with maze-like neighborhoods of modest homes that all look identical, this hash is certain to please anyone that decides to show up. Not more than ten minutes from dowtown Providence, WHO knew thered be a gem like this. And in the middle of WIPOS territory, too! As always, your hare promises fine beer in hermetically sealed juice jars, savory snacks, and a short, clearly-marked trail. Bring a friend! Bring a co-worker! Bring a relative. Just dont bring Bondo.

Derections:

Take 195 East from Providence.

Take Exit 7 onto the Wampanoag Trail towards Borrington

After maybe 2.5-3 miles look for a small plaza with a liquor store on your right. Turn right onto Forbes St.

Follow Forbes Street until it ends in about a mile and a third. Turn Left on Willett Ave.

Take the first left (almost immediately) on Kingsford Ave., passing the Farnsworth DVD Store and Farnsworth Caf.

At the end of Kingsford, the road goes right. You dont. Park in the small lot straight ahead.

Boston Morothon Hash

Is anyone planning to go to Boston for the Marathon Hash April 19th? Does anyone care to spend $45 (in advance, $55 day-of) for weak "beer", no t-shirt, and a goody bag consisting of running ads and a single condom? Count me in! (Assuming I can shift my call schedule.)
