If this is true, then how real is the possibility that the two are conspirators?

Do any ALA experts know if Allen had ever stated that his car had broken down near Lake B?

Some dubious characters are anxiously awaiting for FBI to announce that Jack Tarrance could not be linked to Zodiac case via the items Dennis Kaufman had provided the bureau in recent times so that he could be discredited at will without mercy.

Regardless of the impending outcome of the FBI's tests, I wish to go over some of the items found by Dennis and subject them to mathemagic to see if a discernable pattern can emerge to shed more light on Jack and his game of leaving behind time riddles for Dennis to figure out if he was a Zodiac killer?

A sack-type hood (item 1) was found hidden in a PA system (item 2), which was owned by Dennis since around 1990.
A bloody knife (item 3) and some old undeveloped films (item 4) were found among Jack's belongings, which were in custody of Dennis.

To establish a mathemagical pattern, John Tarrance can be numeralized as: 47 80, which can be added as: 127.

By using this cryptic numeric clue of 127, we can now proceed to crack it for four times as follows:

As a voice clue, Jack fiendishly hid a hood in Dennis PA system, which can process audio signals such as a human voice. By using voice as a cryptic hint, the cryptic alphabetic clue of bloody knife -- it does not mean the knife must actually have some dried out blood on it. It could be rust. It could be anything on that dreaded long knife. But as long as there is an impression of blood on its old blade, it can suffice -- can be cracked as:

There is no way in hell that Dennis Kaufman could have wantonly staged the discovery of these items left by Jack Tarrance behind as cryptic clues for cracking the identity of the Zodiac killer at Lake Berryessa via his time riddle. This cryptic numeric clue of 127 was repeatedly used to target victims of Phantom of Texarkana ( http://groups.msn.com/zodiacnetwork/phantomoftexarkana.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=413 ).

While they are at it, I believe there will be no love lost if FBI tries to run some tests to ascertain if John Charles Carr was John Tarrances son. I also suggest Dennis Kaufman to look inside that PA system real good again to see if Jack had left anything in the form of cryptic coded clues scratched or scrawled inside of the system. Or, if a micro-cassette was hidden somewhere in it or around it. Think of it as a good-bye tape with that maniacal laughter in the end of it for the blue meanies. The possibility for such a tape to exist somewhere is not so far fetched after looking at the items that Jack had already left for us to ponder with.

Additionally, I like to go over some points, which may help those who wish to look at Phantom's murders in connection with the Zodiac case in further details.

On 10/6/1969, Weather Underground Organization (WUO) blasted the "Haymarket Police Statue" in Chicago into pieces to memorialize the "Haymarket Riot" of 5/4/1886. After a replacement statue was installed, WUO returned to blast it into pieces again on 10/6/1970, which was magically timed to coincide with the first anniversary of the first blast.

Phantom's attack no. 4 (5/4/1946) was magically timed to coincide with the 60th anniversary of the Haymarket bombing riot in Chicago, which caused the death of seven police officers. The cryptic numeric ID clue of 60 can be cracked as: a WUO, or a Weathermen Underground Organization, which can be numeralized as: a 112 Underground Organization, which can be either cracked as: a Secret Cvban Underground Organization, or as: a Fidel Castro Underground Organization, which was founded by Fidel Castro (FC) when he was attending a law school. Eventually, WUO publicly surfaced in Chicago in 1969.

Does October 6 ring a bell? It should. David Gilbert was born on October 6, 1944, in Brookline, Massachussette. Gilbert was a founding member of a chapter of Students for a Democractic Society (SDS) at Columbia University. He was also a member of WUO. If folks wish to believe that WUO was a radical off-shoot of SDS, they may do so. But I do not.

Gilbert is currently serving a sentence of 75 years for his role in the Brink robbery of October 1981, which caused the death of two police officers and a Brink guard.

WUO's blast of 10/6/1969, was magically timed to coincide with the 25th birthday of Gilbert. The cryptic numeric ID clue of 25 can be cracked as: Jack.

Also, the cryptic clue of October 6 can be Gregorized as 10 6, which can be collocated as: 106, which can be equalized as: 1 25 80, which can be cracked as:
1 Jack Tarrance.

WUO's blast of 10/6/1970, was magically timed to coincide with the 26th birthday of Gilbert. The cryptic numeric clue of 26 can be Gregorized as: February 6, which was the birthday of Jack Tarrance, who was born in 1928.

Also, the cryptic numeric ID clue of 26 can be alphabetized as: Z, which can be numeralized as: 125, which can be either cracked as: Zodiac Killer, or it can be collocated as: 152, which can be equalized as: 47 (25) 80, which can be cracked as: John (Jack) Tarrance.

On July 26, 1970, WUO bombed the hell out of the Presidio Army Base in San Francisco.

On July 26, 1970, Zodiac also sent his "Little List" letter to San Francisco Chronicle to cryptically confess to things he had done and to things which are yet to come.

Through out years, what had conveniently gone unchallenged was the timings of these two events because they both magically coincided with the 17th anniversary of the Fidel Castro's failed attack on Morcada Barracks on July 26, 1953. Reportedly, while in exile in Mexico in 1955, Castro reorganized his band of riff raffs and gave his goon squad the name of "July 26 Movement." The cryptic clue of July 26, can be romanized as: Jvly 26, which can be numeralized as: 69 26, which can be added as: 95, which can be reversed as: 59, which can be cracked as: WUO.

As a cryptic "Gilbert" clue, Zodiac used lines from the Mikado by "Gilbert & Sullivan."

In part 2 of his "Little List" letter of July 26, 1970, Zodiac repeatedly hinted, "I've got a little list." Specifically, Zodiac menacingly penned his initial lines as:

With David Gilbert's Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) and his membership in Weather Underground Organization (WUO), Zodiac had found a hell of a way to clue in the "blue meanies" by using those lines from the Mikado.

Did Zodiac really have a "Little List" as he cryptically hinted? Sure, he did. Like a real estate agent with multiple listings, Zodiac had used that line from the Mikado to cryptically reveal the names of his bloody lists.

To reveal Zodiac's Phantom list, the cryptic line of "I've got a little list" can be cracked by numeralizing it as: I've got a 78 list, which can be reversed as: I've got a 87 list, which can be cracked as: I've got a Phantom list.

With Jack's direct reported personal admission for Dennis Kaufman that he was the Phantom of Texarkana and his indirect recorded hints about these distant bloody crimes, it is totally unfair not to bring a closure for the victims of Phantom of Texarkana.

This Zodiac case is riddled with cryptic clues about Fidel Castro (FC) and his Weather Underground Organization (WUO). As time goes on, I will try to bring more of it to the attention of the tortured masses with a dire thirst for the truth.

Hope this is not a repeat subject, but i have been reading The Ultimate Evil by Maury Terry about the Son of Sam murders. I was unaware of all the connections to the occult group(s)surrounding this case.
There are a lot of similiarities w/the Zodiac murders,(and I believe JT's mother practiced Black Magic) + Jack delving into the hypnosis.....
The Occult and Drug rings go hand in hand.
The above mentioned book is a real page turner by the way!

Jack locations 1968-1970

I have posted this several times in the past, I did not meet Jack until 1970. I know that Jack lived in a school bus that he converted into a motorhome in 1968-1970, he was all over Northern California during this time. One of the places he stayed was Nyack, which is on Highway 80 between Auburn and Truckee.

Dennis, thanks for posting the Seguin newspaper article.

The things that always stood out for me on your site were the audio recordings. You have there recordings of a guy basically admitting to being the Zodiac.

To me that leaves very few possibilities - either JT was the Zodiac, or one of the following could be true:

1) That wasn't JT on the recordings.

2) JT wasn't the Zodiac, but for some twisted reason he wanted his step-son to think that he was.

Well, I think we can cross number 1 off the list.

From a relative quoted in the Seguin newspaper:

You listen to that recording, and theres no doubt thats Jacks voice and thats Jacks laugh, she said. I have no doubt that recording is real. (No offense Dennis, but I don't know you from Adam - it's good to get some independent corroboration that that was Jack on the recordings.)

So it seems to me that we now know that JT said he was the Zodiac. I guess it will be down to the DNA testing to cross number 2 off the list.

The Catcher in the Rye

Im wondering if Jack read The Catcher in the Rye? I think I read somewhere that this book was found at one of the murder scenes. The main character, rebellious 17-yr old Holden Caulfield, had a God/Jesus complex along with his little sister Phoebe (from the Greek name Phoibus the Greek Sun/Moon God, maybe astrological in nature). He sees himself standing on a cliff in a field of rye while children are playing tag around him. When they stray too close to the edge, he would be the one to catch them, and save them. Phoebe and Holden seem to exchange roles as the catcher and the fallen ones. Holden gives Phoebe the symbol of the catcher, his hunting hat, and becomes the fallen one just as Phoebe assumes the role of the catcherthe one who saves. 10-year old Phoebe is a good student and she is known to be awesome in spelling. The book mentions that Phoebe, whose best subject is spelling, has misspelled Sagittarius, the ninth sign of the zodiac with an extra t. In the last couple of pages in the novel, Holden understands that he cant take control of Phoebe's life nor can he prevent her from maturing. Consequently, she will make mistakes as she grows up, but Holden sees that he must allow her to grab the "golden ring" on the merry-go-round which is a symbol of adolescent mistakes.
The book was released in the US around 1951 by J.D. Salinger. The story is told in the summer of 1950 in a hospital/sanitarium in Southern California, but the events take place during a 2-day period assumed to be about a week before Christmas of 1949 beginning on December 18th to 19th. Mark David Chapman who murdered John Lennon, and John Hinkley who attempted to assassinate Ronald Reagan but failed were both found with copies of The Catcher in the Rye. After killing John Lennon on December 8th, 1980, Chapman dropped the gun and proceeded to take out a copy of The Catcher in the Rye, and calmly started reading while waiting for the police to arrive. When police entered the apartment of John Hinkley, they found a copy of the book on his coffee table. Chapman told police, "If you want to know why I murdered John Lennon, read The Catcher in the Rye." The guy who killed Robert F. Kennedy, Sirhan Sirhan, was also reading it. They had the same type of mad ramblings written in their notepads. "JoHn LEnNON mUST DiE sAYs CatCheR In THe Rye" & "KeNNeDY MuST dIE sAYS cATCHer In THe rYE. I read somewhere that J.D. Salinger worked with Nixons buddy Henry Kissinger in the counter-intelligence corps during WWII with a Manchurian candidate type of program called MKULTRA and/or MKUMBRA. Maybe using an assassination trigger when reading the book. This book has been lnked to other killers such as the Boston Strangler, Son of Sam, Charles Manson, and Reverand Jim Jones of the Jonestown Massacre. Linking only this book could be coincidence, because I bet even more killers have been linked together because they read the Bible, right?
If you have any other coincidences that might link Z and/or Jack to The Catcher in the Rye, please post them. I would be interested in seeing them.
