Might need some help getting this to work, but here's a link to several minutes of video from the Turn One track day at CMP on 4/20/08. I'll try and edit it an put it up on U-tube later - any ideas for posting video clips welcome, I'm new to the digitial video world. Oh yeah - a good time was had by all.

I'll be out there to paly and have fun. Who else will be coming out? Come by and visit. I'll have either a old red bike, or a newer blue silver bike. It depends on if I get the new to me one ready or not.

I know Mark Will be out there on his new to him old Honda.

The V8 StockCar Road Racing Series returns to Carolina Motorsports Park March 29th and 30th running with the SOUTH CAROLINA REGION SCCA at the BUCK MUSE MEMORIAL SARRC RACES. The group looks forward to challenging the new track configuration with three classes of high horsepower, tube frame "time machines." The new track configuration should provide even higher speeds and more excitement for fans and drivers alike.

Any plans for more spectator areas?

Hey guys, do you have any plans in the works to add some grandstands along the main straight or anywhere else? I always hear from people how much nicer it would be for the racer's families, friends, and crew if they could watch from a place other than standing behind the fence between turn 1 and 3.

Does anybody know if the new sweeping turn 12 and/or 13 is slightly banked? I can't tell from the pictures.

Well, I think last weekend went very smooth. Great job. The new layout is great. I had a blast. I'll be looking forward to getting back out there to do some more laps.

I have heard rumors that an asphalt kart sprint track is being built as part of your improvement plan. Is there a projected date for completion and will the track be available for individuals to rent practice time. Also, do you plan to hold weekly or monthly race events?

Hey guys, are there any plans of holding a racing school at CMP? I'm new to the area (CSRA) and looking for a school to attend. If there's no plans for a formal school, is there an alternative route I can look into? I've attended a 5 day formula school is Canada several years ago, and well, lets just say I think I need a refresher. Also, are there formula cars available for rent?

Just wondering if the rumors are true that there is going to be a late model race there. the story i heard is that they will be having a two day show and that fans are going to be allowed for the first time?
