WORKING CHUCKWAGON FOR SALE

We are re-typing this so maybe you can read.Not grand on this thinganyway sorry. Our wagon was made before 1876 it has a military frame nad butcher knife wheels , back wheels have 16 spoke, and front ones 14. We had thhe fellows replaced and brakes redone. We built the oven boot, chuckbox (has 6 drawers, and two large open shevles on bottom), lanternbox , frontbox under the seat, and small box on side for stakes and tools. The bed, carriage, and wheels are all oringal. We have owned this and cooked out of it for 6 years. The wagon was in the movie the Blue and the Gray filmed in Rudy and Ft smith Ark. the man we bought it from was in the movie as well, and owns 36 other wagons. It comes with the fly , poles, sheet,bows, waterbarrel, two 20in skillets,and 4 ovens (lodgebrand) it has the tounge and a few odds and ends to go with it. It is in "very good" shape. The base the tongue and the wheels are original parts this was an Army wagon brought to New Mexico from Missouri ... Maybe on the Santa Fe trail in the 1800s.
Is is very stout I suppose because it was transporting heavy ammo. We took the base and built the box and seat and the chuck box. We followed a design for the chuck box found on Hansons Website. This wagon was used in a movie being shot by Abique dam I can send pictures from the movie as well as close ups of the Chuckbox and table etc. We purchased a brand new beautiful barrel that goes on the side for water and we have some cast iron peices, coffee pots, tripod, triangle etc. We purchased the bows new and I made a cover from painters tarps and that is what you will see in the pictures for the cover. Starter Chuck wagon for sale with original heavy duty gear and original factory riveted 38 box, with paint and yellow striping still visible.

Wagon includes an authentic Davenport spring seat, brake system, new hickory steam bent bows and chuck box, original 12ft. tongue-that has authentic repair, double and singletree set, etc. The wheels seem to be really solid with a lot of character on the surface and are still workable. Wheels are made of original steam bent fellows that are 180 degree bent. The back wheels are approx 46in. and the fronts are 42in. in diameter by 3in. tyre.

Altogether, this wagon is a great piece of history and would make an excellent investment and great addition for a collection, chuck wagon competition, cookouts, decor. etc.

All original owensboro wagon would make a great chuck wagon. floor will need replaced as it has some rot on one side the sides and paint are all good. the wheels and axles are in a1 shape. no seat but have tounge.
