Wrong Date On Registration form

Hi All,

Note that the return date is wrong on the registration form. I made our airfare to return on the 9th, as stated on the form. The same day my package came from Herb. Pulled out the flyer. Date said home on 2/8. Because it had not been 24 hours since I got our tickets they changed it for us no fee of $130 to make the change. God was really looking out for us. I don't think anyone will have our problem, we are the only crazy people to book this early. We got a great fare non stop!!! Can't wait until the cruise.

FINAL Passport Rule Issued for Land and Sea Borders

The Departments of Homeland Security and of State issued the final rule making concerning the requirements of passports for land and sea border crossings under the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative. After years of development following 9/11, this ruling is the end of the process and can be considered FINAL when ensuring you have the proper identification when traveling.

Effective June 1, 2009, the following rules take effect for cruise passengers:

U.S. citizens on cruise voyages that begin and end at the same U.S. port (closed-loop itineraries) must show proof of citizenship* and government-issued photo ID (such as a driver?s license). A passport will not be required for passengers that fall into this category.

*Documents include: Original or certified copy of birth certificate; Naturalization papers; Consular Report of Birth Abroad issued by Department of State

All other passengers and/or itineraries (such as cruises which begin in one U.S. port and return to a different U.S. port or any cruise that begins or ends in a foreign port) will require a passport or other recognized document. For a list of accepted documents, see www.travel.state.gov.

The good news ? American citizens that leave and return on their cruise from the same U.S. port ? is that the travel document requirements will remain largely unchanged from how the industry is operating today.

We continue to encourage travelers to obtain passports to allow the broadest travel opportunities. You can visit www.travel.state.gov to obtain information on how to apply at more than 9,000 passport acceptance facilities in the United States.

The Bluegrass Cruise

Hello everyone... if you are reading this you probably already are a bleugrass fan.. however if you ever want to experience the ultimate in enjoyment of our passion, then you just have to go on the bluegrass cruise. The bands are relaxed, because they dont have to travel and they can spend time with you and your family and talk about the music. They have so many workshops and just chance meetings on the ship that you can't imagine the fun you will have. Meantime, Rhonda and Herb and her family know how to treat you like a family(which we are). If you want to have some fun and are planning a vacation then please consider this. I can't tell you how much fun my wife and I had. ..... Sitting out on our balcony having coffee and pastery and hearing the sea rush by and getting ready for the concerts...... the jam sessions........... the slot machines...... they dont pay that much but hey we are on vacation right? Long story short, if you go on this thing, you will have fun, you will meet some great folks and you will not forget it. I can't go on the 2009, because of prior commitments, but if I am still kicking in 2010 then you will see me and my whole family there . I intend to pop for the whole thing,. I need my folks there with me. It reminds me of Merlefest with the kind of attention Rhonda and her family put into the thing. Thank you all so very much for the best vacation I have ever had.

2009 bluegrass cruise

I see that the information is up on the 2009 bluegrass cruise. I wanted to clarify somethings. The price on the registration form is per person? So if it was decided to get the interior room at $1145 if there are two adults then it would be $2290? Also what about children. What is the cost for them? What is included in the ticket price? Thank you.

Could anyone tell me if there is a good bluegrass cruise coming up sometime in June, July, or August 2008. I'm checking for my sister to surprise her husband for their anniversary (Aug. 14). He really enjoys groups like D.Lawson & QuickSilver, 3rd Tyme Out, The Lewis Family, Lost & Found, R&L Express, Rhonda Vincent, The Grascal's and many others. Any info would be appreciated. WOW, what a cruise!! Rhonda and I would like to thank all those who were on board for the 3rd annual Bluegrass Cruise. With nearly 400 passengers in our group, it will be something we will remember forever.

Many memories were made this past week, with folks from around the globe. We thank you for all your great compliments, and look forward to seeing you again, real soon.

Booking has already started for next year. We are already over 25% booked for 2009. We do have 20% more capacity in '09, but the way it is selling don't wait. Get those registration forms in ASAP, and don't miss the boat!!

Remember, this IS the "Ultimate Bluegrass Cruise Experience"
