Sunday May 4th at 10am. It was pretty fun last year. It think the lead group did the 50 miler in just a hair over 2 hours. I'll be riding sweep on the 25 miler this year, so I'll be spared a repeat of that pain.

Tuesday Night Ride

We will be rolling out at 6pm tonight from Bike World. Come on out and enjoy the ride. Remember there are three groups, an A, B, and C group. Make sure you know which group you are in.

Those riding in the B group, please help to make sure the group stays together. The average speed for this group should be around 17 to 18mph. If you are riding in the B group we will be doing the full southern route this evening. We will stop two or three times to quickly regroup. Please help me with the designated stops to regroup so that everyone can enjoy the ride together.

We will stop at Quinn road and Goodman Road to regroup and we will stop again at the Desoto Road and Center Hill Road. If you know these intersections please help me to stop the group for a few minutes to let those behind catch up. I will be in the back of the B group to sweep the ride so I will not be upfront to stop the group at those intersections. Thanks for your help.

Remember the A group can be fun but very very fast. Make sure you can keep up if you choose to ride in the A group.

The C group will still do the shorter route through the tt loop and Bryan will be sweeping that ride.

Looks sunny and mid 60s. A big improvement over the past two days. We will be rolling out at 6pm from the shop.

Tuesday Night Ride 4/8/08

Looks like great weather tomorrow for the ride. We will be leaving at 6pm.
There will be an A, B, and C group. Make sure that you are in the correct group. There will not be anyone sweeping the A group. Make sure you know the route in case you get dropped from the group. B and C groups will have a sweep rider and the group will stop several times to stay together so everyone enjoys the ride.

There will be a ride tonight. From what the weather channel says the light showeres will end by 3 and the sun will be out after that. So lets plan on having the ride tonight.

Tuesday Night Ride

The tuesday night rides are about to start back. Tomorrow their will be a group ride leaving from the shop. Roll out will be promptly at 6 o'clock. Be prepared and bring a light just in case. It is doubtful that we will be able to finish the southern loop before it gets dark so we may decide to do an out and back. Those who wish to ride fast it is your duty to know where you are going, the group ride will not be scattered up and down the roads. We will be enjoying the afternoon and focusing on keeping the group together. Those of you who would like to come out we welcome you to our rides and look forward to the rides ahead. Riders are recommended be able to average 16 mph by themselves. I repeat this group ride will not be a hammer fest, for those of you who wish to leave the group and race up the roads it is your responsibility to make sure that you make it back safely.
