Now that was a convention. Speeches that were actually about the candidates and told you something new, well choreographed -- they managed to sneak in Laura Bush, a tribute to Reagan, Thompson and Lieberman into a single hour of prime time coverage without any deadspace or wasted time. The Repubs should simply release an ad: The Dems can't even manage a convention.

Also, the left is literally scared sh1tless of Palin. The NYT had THREE HIT PIECES on her on the front page yesterday?!!? The coverage last night on CNN was the exact opposite of last week at the DNC. After Lieberman's speech, they were falling all over themselves to basically accuse him of lying. The starting point for their logic: Lieberman can't really endorse McCain, it must be because they're friends, because he wants political favors, etc. Of course, these same clowns took everything the Clinton's said at face value!

First, the man has no resume -- he's asserting that running for president is his executive experience?!!? Second, Palin is the VP pick, not the President.
