Vic Ferrari Band

May 24th the Vic Ferrari band will be at the Blue Moo. Ski show at 7PM. Band at 9:30. It is their Spring Bash Kick Off. The usual place cancelled, and Blake jumped in. Expect thousands of people and hope everyone can show up. Crandon knows this band rocks.

Need advice quick

Just blew up my motor on 1990 barefoot Sanger. What is the max horsepower rating on this boat ? If I keep the boat I will probably put on an Evinrude.
Also if I buy a new Sanger DLX11, what are the biggest pros and cons in switching to this boat ? Is top end that big of a difference ?
As there is no dealers in Canada I need your help asI really can't test drive one unless I travel a significant distance.
Any other boat I should consider (ie. Mastercraft, Malibu, Nautique)?

Sponsoring Nationals

Curious about BFC sponsoring the South African Nationals. With the lack of support for US 3 Event, I wonder what the difference is for BFC to sponsor the South African Nationals. Could it be that lack of support for the US Nationals is simply personal or emotional? If that is the case, I thought emotion was to be taken out of the equation... always! HAHA! Is it simply showing support for your new dream team of athletes? Are there any elite skiers in the US sponsored by BFC anymore (you can't count beer drinkers from Wisconsin)?

BFC, tell us why you haven't supported the US 3 event Nationals the past several years (without listing all the things you have supported).

Is there any desire by BFC to once again be a supporter of 3 event here in the US?

Is there any desire by the ABC to once again be supported by BFC on a sponsorship level?

Donahue took it with Jake weber taking 2nd. 8 footers showed up. They were jake weber, cj dinse, mike netzer, marc donahue, mike wallace, kevin orlando, marty lorenz, and some other guy who i have no clue who he was lol

Mad City Dual Figure 8 CANCELLED

Mad City cancelled for this year. A number of reasons, but hopefully back next year. So i am calling on Tomahawk. They have an 8 planned the 28th, same weekend as St Louis. If anyone that reads this forum can contact whoever is running the Tomahawk 8, please let me know. They would have a much better turnout if they take over the Duals date. Skiers have already planned for the early June Tourney.

Tech Q? - Speeds

Hi there lads, (All relates to long line, not on boom)

Just another fairly boring Question for you guys. Im just under a tonne (100kg) and am finding that for a good one foot in salt water, water temp about 23.5 deg c, Im needing around 42-43mph, whilst ive been told I should be able to go slower than that. Ive got a size 10 foot which is a lovely narrowish flat ski shape :). Does this sound like roughly the right speed or should I be trying to be doing them at 40.

Which then brings me to on shoe skiis (little ones) Im trying to learn to do 1 foot slalom, and am finding that Im needing 36-37 on my shoeys. Does this sound too fast?? At 35 a one is ok, but I can feel the water right up there on em and its not real comfy espescially if the water is average (when youd get the shoe skiis out).

Also for wake slalom, even on two feet 40 or just under feels a little slow.

Any fellow "thick set" :) footers advise would be great.

Thanks again everyone, this is a great resource for guys like me who go skiing with the family and dont have a footing buddy to check stance, speeds etc.
