wheel chair repair

Recently my wheelchair broke and I wanted to say Thank You to Toney for loaning me some wheels. It is a Quickie Rhythm and other than I am driving like have never used a power chair before I am enjoying it. I have gotten to go a few places that I never been before ( All them safe but the mid wheel drive allowed me to turn shorter).
I also wanted to pass on information about a repair company that I found. The company name is Absolute Medical. They have locations in Cabot, Jacksonville and Clarksville. Kevin Hoskinds (in Marshall) is who I am using. I have been be a wheelie person for 38 years and this is the best company I have found. If you would like more informatiion about this company e mail me and I will give you the information.

I have a 18 year old daughter with Spinal Bifida. She is paralized from the waist down and is in a wheelchair. My wife can't work, because she has to care for our daughter . I understand there is a program where my wife can be paid by the government by the hour as kind of like an employee of the government as a caregiver for our daughter. I know this program exist, but trying to find out where is nearly impossible. It's a shame that trying to find out this stuff is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. I also understand that there are stuff like having your house handicapped accessible, like showers, doorways, ramps and etc, is also available. But like I said, my daughter is now 18 and we are as lost now as when she was born. Any help would be deeply appreciated. Thank you Eddy Simmons My phone number is 501-412-8643 Thanks Again

Rollin Round the Rim

We will be having a 3 on 3 wheelchair basketball tournament at Tucker Coliseum located in Russellville Arkansas on April 18, 2008. This tournament will be for all individuals in the state with or without disabilities. We hope to have several universities represented at the tournament. We also have several organizations that have expressed interest in coming out to watch the event. If you like to participate, just come out to watch or would like more information about the event please contact Toney LeQuieu at 479-890-5751. Also the winner of the tournament will play the Arkansas Rolling Razorbacks in an exhibition game after the tournament is over.
