Over the next couple of weeks I,m meeting up with Dave Leech,Pete Hackin and Paul Ashton to decide what we,re going to do to fight off old age. I fancy doing the 3 peaks over 3 days, I,ve just gone up Snowdon with the missis and it was hard but I think the 3 over 3 days is doable. Do any of you want to meet up with us, have any of you got any other ideas for something to do.
Also do any of you fancy a Christmas party with the Blues Brothers, with a hot super thrown in, as most of you have kids I think they should be welcome aswell,they,ve never hindered a good party in the past and always enjoyed themselves even if some end up asleep on their dads knee. I recon it will cost around 15 quid a ticket, maybe mid December and we,ll need to shift about 100 tickets but I need to get moving fast if theres enough want it and again we can discuss this when we meet up, I can also get in touch with people who don,t visit this site and the rest of you can also ask those your in touch with.

LIKE MOST OF YOU I KEPT SCAP BOOKS AND THE AMOUNT OF TIMES I,VE READ THING LIKE .......ALLSTARS SHOCK WIN, ALLSTARS PULLED OF A SURPRISING WIN, SO AND SO LEFT THEIR BALL GAME ON THE TRAINING GROUND AND THE ALLSTARS CAPATALISED. THEN THESE RECENT CHARTS COME OUT THAT HAS OUR TOP RATED PLAYER AS GOUGHYS FRISBY CATCHING DOG AND OUR BEST MATCH WAS BEN FITZPATRICKS COMING TOGETHER WITH A FALLING GOAL POST.
WELL I FOR ONE USED TO LOVE THIS AND USE IT IN A GAME AS DOES A SMALL RABID DOG, BUT SURPRISE SURPRISE MY OLD MAN HAD A CLEAR OUT AND GAVE ME A STACK OF AWAY PROGRAMES AND THE LIKES OFF THE SPARTANS,LIECESTER AND FYLDE DO NOTHING BUT PRAISE AND RESPECT US AND AFTER ALL THESE YEARS OF THINKING IT WAS US THAT THOUGHT WE WERE SO GOOD,ITS NICE TO GET A BELATED PAT ON THE BACK, MAYBE IF WE READ THESE PROGRAMES AT THE TIME WE WOULDN,T HAVE BEEN HALF AS AGGRESIVE AS THEIR PROGRAMES SUGGESTED WE WERE.

I just watched tonights episode of the Street on UKTV (we are just over a year behind) and who pops up on the screen - Paul Beswick!

This episode would have been from approx May 07 and was Chesney's school concert where they did Bugsy Malone and Fiz met her old flame who had become Chesney's schoolteacher.

Thank God that Pop didn't have a speaking part.
