ረድዮ ኤርትራ ሃሊፋክስ-ካናዳ፡ ኣብ ዕለት 3ን 10ን ነሓሰ 2008፡ ኣብ መራኸቢ ብዙሓን ግደ ኣለዎም ንዘበሎም ኤርትራውያን ኣራኺቡ ናይ ዘተ መኣዲ ኣሳስዩ። ብሓቂ ብዓይነቱ ይኹን ብትሕዝትኡ ኣገዳሲ ነይሩ።

ዘተይቲ፡ ካብ ዝተፋላለየ ባይታ ናይ ተሞኩሮን ኣፍልጦንኳ ይቕርቡ እምበር፡ ኣብ መሰረታዊ ጉዳያትስ ፍልልይ ኣየመዝገቡን። ንኣብነት ኣብ ናይ ጋዜጠኝነት ስነ-ምግባር/ኣደብ (ethics) ዝምልከትን ናጻ-ፕረስ መባእታዊ መሰል ናይ ደቂ-ሰባት ምዃኑን ብሓደ ርእዮሞ። ኣብ ኤርትራ፡ ናጻ ፕረስ ስለዘየለ ግን ከካትዕ ዝኽእል ነጥቢ ኣይነበሮን። ኣብቲ ቀዳማይ መዓልቲ፡ ኣነ ክውንነት ሕብረተ-ሰብ ኤርትራን፡ ንኣካናውንኡ ዝበቅዕ ኣቀረርባን ኣሰናድኣን ብመጽናዕቲ ክበጻሕ ዝለዎዩ ኢለ። ስለምንታይ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ብብዝዙሕነት ዝቖመን ኣብ ሓደ ዓይነት ናይ ምዕብልና ደረጃ የሎን ካብ ዝብል እምነትዩ። ቴድሮስ፡ ኣብ ክልሳ-ሓሳባውን መትከላውን ገለጻ መራኸቢ ብዙሓን ኣተኲሩ። ግደ ናጻ ፕረስ ንህዝቢ ንምምንቕቓሕ ስለዝኾነ፡ ንህዝቢ ኤርትራ ኣፍልጡኡን ዓቕሙን ክብ ንምባል የኽእሎዩ ኢሉ። ምናሴ፡ ኣህጉራዊ ናይ ሰብኣዊ-መሰል ሕጊን ኣድማሳዊ ትርጉም መራኽቢ ቡዙሓንን ከም መበገሲ ወሲዱ፡ መንግስቲ ኤርትራ ዝኽተሎ ኢ-ሰብኣዊ ኣተሓሕዛ ናይ ዜጋታት ኣብሪሁ።

ኣብቲ ካልኣይ መዓልቲውን፡ ብሓው ኣማኒኤል፡ ረዘነን፡ ዮውሃንስን ዝቐረበ፡ ካብ ተሞክሮኦም ዝመንጨወ ነቲ ናይ ቅድሚ መዓልቲ ዘተ ብዝያዳ ኣሀብቲሞሞ። ብመሰረት ትሕዝትኡ ግን፡ ካብ ናይ ምናሴ ዝፍለ ብዙሓ ነጥብታት ኣይረኸብኩሉን። ብሓፈሽኡ፡ ኣነን ቴድሮስን ተመኩሮና ተ.ሓ.ኤ. ስለዝኾነ፡ ንህ.ግንባር ይኹን ህ.ግ.ደ.ፍ. ካብ ደገ ጥራሕ ኢና ክንመዝኖ ንኽእል። እቶም ዝተረፉ ግን ተሞክሮኦም ህ/ግንባርን ህ.ግ.ደ.ፍ.ን ስለዝኾነ፡ ንመንግስቲ ኤርትራ ካብ ውሽጢ ስለዝፈልጥዎ፡ ሚዛኖም ድማ ብኡ ልክዕ ኢዩ ነይሩ። እዚ ተሞክሮታትዚ ኣብ ዕላማ ዘይኮነስ፡ ኣብ ኣራኣእያ፡ ኣብ ኣመዛዝናን ናይቲ መንግስቲ ፍልልይ ከምዘሎዎ መዚነ። ኣብ ርእሲዚ፡ ኣብ መንጎ ሓደሽቲ ወለዶን ነባራት ተቓለስትን ዘሎ ፍልልይ የንጸባርቕ ነይሩ።

ዘተ ናይ ክልቲኡ ዕለት ብዛዕባ መራኸቢ ብዙሓን ኢዩ ነይሩ። መራኻቢ ብዙሓን፡ ቀንዲ ዕማሙ ሓበሬታ ምዝርጋሕን ምርካብንዩ። ፖለቲካዊ፡ ማሕበራዊን ኤኮኖሚያዊን ሂወት ናይ ህዝቢ ብዘይ ናጻ-ፕረስን መበእታዊ ሰብኣዊ መሰልን፡ ዘላቒ ምዕብልናስ ይትረፍ፡ ኣንፈት ናይ ንቕድሚት ምስጓምውን ዕጽውዩ። ስለዚ፡ መራኸቢ ብዙሓን ኣብ ምዕብልና ደቂ-ሰባት ቀንዲን ወሳኒን (vital) እምበር፡ ካልኣዊ ቦታ ኣይሕዝን። ንኹሉ ሜዳያት ምንቅስቓስን ምውሳእን ናይ ሓደ ህዝቢ ዝትንክፍ ስለዝኾነ፡ ብዛዕባ መራኻቢ ብዙሓን እንኪ-ትዝቲ፡ ተጐስዩ ዝሓልፍ ህዝባዊ ጉዳይት ኣይህሉን።

ናይ ምዝራብ፡ ናይ ምጽሓፍ፡ ናይ ምእካብ፡ ናይ ምቅዋምን ሰላማዊ ሰልፊ ምግባርን ወዘተ ናጽነት እንተዘየለ፡ ናጽነት ትርጉም የብሉን። እዚ መሰላትዚ፡ መግለጺ ናይ ምግያጽ፡ ናይ ምቾት፡ ወይ ናይ ቀበጥ-በጥ ኣይኮነን። ከርሲ ናይ ናጽነትን መርኣያ ሰብኣዊ-ክብሪን እምበር። ርእሰ-ናጽነት፡ ሓቂዩ። ሓቂ ድማ ፍትሒዩ። ናጽነት፡ ንሓቅን ፍትሕን ናይ ደቂ-ሰባት ዘረጋግጽ ክውንነትዩ። ስለዝኾነ፡ ዘተይቲ፡ ኣብ ኩሉ ጽፍሒታት ናይቲ መንግስቲ፡ ኣብ ኩሉ ሜዳያት ናይ ቃልሲ፡ ኣብ መሰረታዊ ሕቶ ሰብኣዊ መሰላት ኣትዮም ክዝትዩ ኣብ ቦትኡዩ ነይሩ።

ባህርያትን ኣገልጉሎትን መራኸቢ ብዙሓን፡

መራኸቢ ብዙሓን፡ብሕጽር ዝበለ ገለጽኡ- ሓበሬታ፡ ሓሳብን ኣረኣእያታትን ካብ ሓደ ሰብ ናብ ካልእ፡ ወይ ካብ ሓደ ናይ ዜና ማዕከን ናብ ዝፍሕ ዝበለ ህዝቢ፡ ብመሳርሒ ዜና ኣቢሉ ዝዝርጋሕ መስርሕ ኢዩ። እቲ ቀንዲ ኣገልጉሎት መራኸቢ ብዙሓን፡ ብዝተፋላለዩ መሳርሒታትን ኣጋጣሚታት፡ ህዝባዊ ጉባኤታትን ብዋዕላታትን ሰሚናራትን ኣቢሉ፡ ህዝቢ ምስ ህዝቢ፡ ህዝብን መንግስትን እናራኸበ፣ ብንምዕብንላናን ብክውንነትን ዘዛቲ፡ ዘተሓታት፡ ዘቋጻጽርን ናይ ሓበሬታ ዓውድን መስርሕዩ።

መዐቀኒ መራኸቢ ብዙሓን፡ ነቲ ሓበሬታ መን ይእክቦ? ኣድላይነት ናይ ምዝርግሑ መን ይመርጾ? ንከመይ ዝበለ ዕላማ ወይ ሽቶ ንምህራም ይሳናዳእ? ንዜጋታት የሳትፍዶ ወይስ የዋስን?፡ ሻርነት ዝሓዝ ድዩ ወይስ ሚዛናዊ ኢዩ? ኢልካ ዓይነቱ ክፍለጥ ይክኣል። ብዝኾነ፡ ግደን ተራን መራኽቢ ብዙሓን፡ ካብ ዲሞክራሲያዊ ሂወትን ሰብኣዊ ናጽነትን ናይ ዜጋታት ተነጺሉ ክረአ ኣይክእልን። ስለዝኾነ፡ ኣድማሳዊ ባህርይ ህዝባዊ መራኽቢ ብዙሓን፡ ንፍትሕን ናጻ ህልውናን ደቂ-ሰባት ዝቐውም ባህርያዊ መሰልዩ። ከመይ? ንሰብኣዊ ክብርን፡ ንሰብኣዊ ናጽነትን ስለዝሕለቕ።

ኩሉ ትካላት/መርበባት መራኸቢ ብዙሓን ግን፡ ንሓቅን ንፍትሕን ዝሕለቕ ኣይኮነን። መብዛሕትኡ ብመንግስቲ ዝውነን መራኸቢ ብዙሓን፡ ቃልን ድልየትን መንግስቲ ኣብ ምዝርጋሕ የተኵር። ስለዚ ብመሰረቱ፡ ነቲ ህዝባዊ ርክባት ተባሂሉ ብመንግስቲ ተዓሊሙ ዝዝርጋሕ ፕሮፖጋንዳ ኢዩ። ፕሮፓንዳ፡ ህዝቢ ንህዝቢ ክካታዕ፡ ክመሃሃር፡ ዝተፋላለየ ኣረኣእያታትን ተረድኦታትን ንኽምዕብል ዝነጥፍ ዕዮ ኣይኮነን። ዕላማ ፕሮፓጋንዳ፡ ርእይቶታትን ኣተሓሳስባታትን ህዝቢ፡ በቲ ኣተሓሳስባን መደብን ናይቲ መንግስቲ ክቕረጽን ንኽሰራዕን ዝነጥፍዩ። መራኸቢ ብዙሓን ብመንግስቲ ዝውነንን ሙሉእ ቁጽጽር ዝግበሮን እንተኾይኑ፡ እቲ መንግስቲ መላኽን ዲክታቶርን ምዃኑ ጥራሕዩ ዝሕብር። ብመንግስቲ ዝውነን መራኸቢ ብዙሓን፡ ባዕሉ ንዝፍጽሞ ብልሽውናታትን ግህሰትን ከቃልዕ ኢዩ ማለት ዘይሕሰብዩ። ስለዚ፡ መራኸቢ ብዙሓን፡ ናጻ ህልውና ኣረጋጊጹ፡ ብውልቀ-ሰባትን ትካላትን ሞያውያን ማሕበራትን ክውነን ኣዝዩ ኣገዳሲ ይኸውን።

ብዛዕባ ኣብ ኤርትራ፡ ኣብ ሕዳር 1996 ዝተእወጀ ናይ ሕጊ ፕረስ፡

1. እቲ ሕጊታት ብሚኒስትሪ ዜና ተነዲፉን ረቒቑን። ሰብ-ሞያን፡ ኣብዚ ጉዳይ እዚ ልኡል ግደ ከበርክቱ ዝኽእሉ ዜጋታትን ኣየሳተፈን። ፕረስ ናይ ህዝቢ እዝንን ዓይንን ኮይኑ፡ መንግስቲ ብግቡእ ይሰርሕ ምህላውን ዘይምህላውን ንህዝቢ ክገልጽን ክሕብርን ዋኒኑዩ። ጌጋታት ናይ ሰበ-ስልጣናት እንተተረኺቡውን ከጋልጽ፡ ክኸሽሕ ግቡኡ ኢዩ። እንተኾነ፡ እቲ ነዚ ክዉን ክገብር ዝኽእል ሕጊ ብሚኒስትሪ ዜና እንተተነዲፉን ረቒቑን ግን ከመይ ኣቢሉ ግቡኡ ክገብር ይኽእል?

2. ኣብ ኤርትራ ክህሉ ዝድለ ፕረስ!! ኢዩ ይብል እቲ ብመንግስቲ ዝተኣወጀ ሕጊ ናይ ፕረስ። መንግስቲ ኤርትራ፡ ሕጊ ፕረስ ባዕሉ ኣርቂቑ ክእውጅ ከሎ፡ ንስልጣኑን መደብ ፕሮፖጋንዱኡ ኣብ ግምት እናእተወ ክምዝጻሓፎን ዝቐየሶን ኣየካትዕን። ስለዝኾነ፡ እዚ ዓይነት ሕጊ ፕረስዚ ካብቲ ብሚኒስትሪ ዜና ዝዝርጋሕን ዝቃላሕን ናይ ፕሮፖጋንዳ ፈነወ ብዓይነቱ ክፍለ ኣይክእልን።

3. ረድዮን ተለቪዥንን ብመንግስቲ ጥራይ ኢዩ ዝውነን ይብል። ስለዚ መሃሪ መደባት ከም ፊልም፡ መደብ ህጻናትን ከም ካርቱን ዝኣመሰሉ ንመንግስቲ ዝተሓዝኡ ኔሮም። ስለዚ፡ እቲ ኣዋጅ፡ ሕጊ ፕረስ፡ ንይምሰልን ዝተኣወጀ ኢዩ ነይሩ።

ኣድላይነት መራኸቢ ብዙሓን፡ ኣብ ኤርትራ።

ኣድላይነቱ ዘካትዕ ኣይኮነን። ኤርትራ ሃገርና፡ ካብ መግዛእቲ ናብ መግዛእቲ ዝተኻላበተት ሃገርያ። ብመስንኪ መግዛእቲ፡ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ፡ ካብ ምዕብልናን ብልጽግናን ተሓጺሩ ንነዊሕ ዓመታት ዝጸንሐዩ። እዞም ዝተፋላለዩ ናይ መግዛእቲ ሓይልታት፡ መግዛእታዊ ዕድሚኦም ከናውሑ፡ ዝተፋላለየ መርበብ ናይ መፋላለዪ ሜላታት ዘርጊሖም። ሎሚ ድሕሪ ሃገራዊ ፖለቲካዊ ናጽነት፡ ነቲ ኩሉ ገዛእቲ ዝገደፍዎ ግዕዘይ-ምዕዘይ ንምጽራግን ዝተጸንዐን ዝተነጸረን መደብ ተሓድሶ ክግበር መድለየ። ተሓድሶ- ናይ ኣተሓሳስባን ናይ ኣሰራርሓን፡ ንሓድነት ህዝብን ህንጸት ሃገርን ዘገልግል። ህንጸት ሃገር፡ ኣብ ኣተሓሳስባ ተሳትፎን ናይ ዜጋታት እምበር፡ ትሕተ-ቅርጻታት ጥራሕ ምዝርጋሕ ኣይኮነን። ትሕተ-ቅርጻ ቅድም፡ ኣተሓሳስባን ተሳትፎን ከኣ ዳሓር ኢልካ ምእማን፡ ፈረስ ንድሕሪት ሰረገላ ንቕድሚት ከም ምግባር ይቑጸር።

እዚ ከም መበገስን መረዳእታን ብምውሳድ፡

ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ብብዙሕነት ዝቖመ ህዝቢ ኢዩ
ናይ ኤርትራ ሃገርነት፡ ናይ ሓባር መግዛእትን ጭቆናን እምበር፡ ናይ ሓባር ዕዳጋን ማሕበራዊ ምዕብልናን ዝሃነጾ ኣይኮነን
ኣብ ጊዜ ዓደይ-ዓደይ ዝተጋህደ ፖለቲካዊ ፍልልይን ይኹን ኣብ እዋን ብረታዊ ተጋድሎ ውግእ ሓድ-ሕድ ዝፈጠሮ ኣሉታዊ ጽልዋ ርትዓዊ ፍታሕ ይጸበ
ኣብ ኤርትራ፡ መንግስትን ተቓውሞን ኢልካ ዝፍለ ደንበታት ኣሎ። እዚ ድንበታትዚ፡ መተሓላለፊ በሪ ዘለዎ ወይ ክህልዎ ዝግበኦ ድዩስ፡ ወይስ መተሓላለፊ ዘይብሉ ልኩት ዝበለ?
ኣብ ኤርትራ ግዝኣተ-ሕጊ የለን።
ሕግን ስርዓትን ብመንጽር ህዝባዊ ፍትሒ (ብመሰረቱ ሕጊ ፕረስ፡ ኣብ ዝኾነ ሕብረተ-ሰብን ስርዓትን ኣዝዩ ተሃዋሲዩ)።
ሓላፍነታዊ ፕረስ እንታይ ማለትዩ?
ካብ ኤርትራ ወጻኢ ንዝነጥፋ ዘሎ፡ መራኸቢ ብዙሓን፡ ኣብ ኤርትራ ክምዝጋብ ኣብ ዝነትጥ ዘሎ ቃልሲ ክህልወን ግደ። መራኸቢ ብዙሓንን ብመንጽር ቦታን ጊዜን ዝብላ ሓውሲ ኣርእስትታት ምርኩስ ገይረ፡ እዘን ጠቒሰየን ዘለኹ ሸሞንታ ነጥብታትን መራኸቢ ብዙሓን ኣብ ኣ ኤርትራ ክዝቲ ኢዩ።

ተወሳኺ መካትዒ ነጥብታትን ንቕድሚት ክዝትየሎም ዘለኒ ነጥብታትን።

. በዚ ኣርእስቲዚ ህዝቢ ክካታዓሉ ይዕድም

1. ብምናሴ፡ ብኣማኒኤልን ዮውሃንስ፡ ካብ ዝቐረቡ ነጥብታት፡ ኣንጻር ናይ ሰለላን ፕሮፖጋንዳ ህ.ግ.ደ.ፍ. ብዘይንሕስያ ምቅላስን። ብመሰረቱ ህ.ግ.ደ.ፍ. ንህዝቢ ኤርትራ ፍትሒ ነፊጉ የሳቒ ዘሎ መንግስቲ ስለዝኾነ፡ ይፍጽሞ ኢዩ ንዝብሃል ናይ ጽቡቓት ቅንጥብ-ጣብ ክነመጉሶን ክንድግፎን ኣይግባኣናን ዝብል ኣረኣእያ (ሓሳብ እምበር ቃላት ናተይ) ኣመዝጊቦም። እዚ ምስቲ መንግስቲ ዝገብሮ እወንታ ምድጋፍ፡ ንኣሉታኡ ድማ ብትሪ ምቅዋም ዝብል ኣተሓሳስባ ከመይ ይሳነ? ቅንዕንኡን ውድዓዊ ጠመትኡን ከመይ ይምዝን? መንግስቲ ኤርትራ ነጻጊ እምበር ሓቛፊ (inclusive) ኢልና ምስ እንነቕፎ ጠባይ ይሰማማዕዶስ ይእረም?

2. ልኡላውነት ሃገር እንታይ ማለትዩ? ልኡላውነት ሃገር ካብ ዲሞክራሲያዊ መሰልን ናጽነትን ህዝቢ ወጻኢ ክግለጽዶ ይኽእል? ወይ እምነ-መሬት ኤርትራን ዲሞክራሲያዊ መሰል ናይ ዜጋታትን ኣብ ከመይ ይተኣሳሰር? ከመይከ ይፈላለ?

3. ህዝባዊ ሰራዊት ኤርትራ ፈታዊ ድዩ ጸላኢ? ህዝባዊ ሰራዊት ኤርትራ ምስቲ ሓፋሽ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ዘይዕረቕ ረብሓ ኣለዎዶ የብሉን? ኣብዚ ጉዳይዚ፡ መርገጽ ደንበ ተቓውሞን ናጻ-መራኸቢ ብዙሓንን ከመይዩ?

4. ብሰንኪ ጉልቡትን ብሩህ ራእይ ዘይብሉን ደንበ ተቓውሞ፡ ኣብ ኤርትራ፡ ትሕተ-ሃገራዊ ኣረኣእያን ምጉጅጃልን ኣኸቲሉ ዝብል ሚዛን ክሳብ ክንደይ ሓቅነት ኣለዎ?

What is the party stand on an opposition gov. in exile?

I saw Mr. Mengisteab Asmerom day after the deadly night battle for ELF's propriety at Korokon. I respected him as person. Mr. Mengisteab said opposition Groups plan to hold an all inclusive conference in May to form an opposition government in exile and also intensify the fight against the Afewerki regime. What is the party stand on this?

Suggestion from the younger generation for the younger generation

Dear Party Formation Commission,

As you must know, very few Diaspora raised Eritreans can read Tigrinya. It would be helpful if you party platform can be translated in English, Swedish, German, etc.

Many of us grew up in Western Countries. While we have decent command of conversational Tigrinya, our Tigrinya reading skills are limited to non-existent.

We have excellent command of the languages of our host countries, though.

I think it is crucial to include the "Westernized" young Eritreans in this venture. Many are already politically active in organizations such as Amnesty International, College Campus groups, the recent Barack Obama presidential campaign in the US.

Unfortunately, due to this language barrier, their understanding of Eritrean politics is still very basic. Many of these naive youth face active recruitment by the PFDJ-leaning organizations such as NUEYS and of course, YPFDJ.

Personally, I was unaware of the purposes of the Joint Party Formation Commission until I clicked on Adal Forum TODAY. I visit opposition sites almost daily and have seen the JPFC links for months. But they were always in Tigrinya..:) Until today, I had no idea what they were for.

So, you see, even an interested young Turk was unable to find
out the JPFC purpose. That can not be good for the broad based party that you are interested in forming.

A few additional ideas for the general Diaspora Eritrean public.

1. Town hall meetings for cities with large Eritrean populations. Or visits by JPFC commissioners for cities that have a small Eritrean population.

2. Mail outs of flyers announcing town hall meetings or just announcing the purpose of the JPFC. For example, just send a mailer to anyone in Seattle that has a habesha sounding name.

3. A website for the Commission. www.nharnet.com is still associated with the ELF-RC. It wouldn't be the clean break that the JPFC hopes to be.

4. Internet campaigning similar to the American Presidential candidates.
If I can get emails from Obama and Clinton, Can the JPFC duplicate this and find me as well?..:)

That is enough for now. I want to commend the ELF-RC for trying this great experiment in democratization. This is truly revolutionary.

what do we mean by coming together as one

Hello every one I would like to contribute my article on the be halve of Norway formation commission on clarifying the mean to Unity for strangthing our opposing and for the formation of party which leads down the dictators .
We as developing country we need to come together as one no matter what difference we have no matter what Main difference are among political programs. I think we all believe in Multy system party's that is why we are opposing from out side eritrea and we also believe there is a huge problem that is still happening in Eritrea so I think we don't need to work separately even in a developed country's like Europa and US they are collection of States believing UNITY is power the European union are running to establish one president for all while this is the way haw things are solved why are we looking to wards our weakness and work separately if we do believe that one Revelation is stronger then the other if we also believe in Multy system then the people will solve during the time of election since the coming administration is belived in multy party's respect and encouragement to introduce their political programs so as to me I haven't spend a Minuit for forcing the commission in one to the other.

The posted party program is nothing but a collection of plagiarized articles from sister organizations.You can read and see but nothing special and new.Any party,for that matter,should come first with new visions and approach as to how to resolve the current political impasse in Eritrea.The nine-paged program ;as said is nothing but a political jurgeon.I bet ELF-RC to continue with its previous stand and program.The party program will not immune ELF_RC from its past crimes or prizies.Nor will help to approach the PFDJ regime unless the Meskerem website plays as a mediator.And we are eying what weddi General Goitoom is doing.We will see how much Alem Goitom will be paid.

I wonder about the said national agenda.ELF-Rc will not make any valuable contribution to the struggle even if it creates and lures milions of party members.The party transformation time is not yet and nothing special will be gained even if the party comes or goes.It is another system of aggrandizing the ELF RC in another form.You can see just now.While people thinking and devoting to the maintenance of the divided EDA,they are preaching for the formation of the party.

Legal Nonsense

From the beginning of time, has Ethiopia ever knew the existence of such political jargon called legal nonsense other than legally nonsense brilliance? Here is my question for the respected commission.

From legal point of view, the border between the tiny Eritrea and the jumbo Ethiopia has finally demarcated, to be precise virtually. I have reason to celebrate legally. Am I legally nonsense? Not that all! I have reason to believe legally that Ethiopia continues to occupying Eritreas sovereign territories. Am I legally nonsense? I call for Ethiopia to withdraw its forces from Eritrea. The commission do you agree or disagree with me?

Commission On Frail Situation

The commission seems to suffer blatantly from a deficit of inability to give definitive answers for the questions raised by concerned citizens making it to fall right from the outset in the trap of the fallacy of begging a question. It smells no different than the ELF_RC. The least it could do is to reassess the following previously asked question by Himbol and others and try to answer them without trembling.

It has been quetioned but not answered yet ?
Who are the commission members? and their backgrounds?
Since biography play a big role in Eritrean poletics please verify it for us

1) Commissions answer:

Members of the Commission are Eritreans from all walk of life and they are independent in all of their actions in undertaking the tasks of the Commission. As far as their roles in the Commssion are concerned, they have no affiliation with any party or organization apart from having a working relationship with those who supports the Commssion's mission.

2) Question asked:

Do you recognize the government of Eritrea?

3) Question asked:

Should a declared Jihadist party, a Moslem Brotherhood party, or an Islamist party be allowed to exist in the Eritrea that you envision? Should a declared Christian party or organization be allowed to exist?

The issues raised by Hmbol are the mandates of the Eritrea people to make the decision. The Commission is deemed to found a new mass-based political party which will struggle to give the Eritrea public the power to decide on matters and issues of interest of which what Humbol raised are some.

What is your position regarding national service? Should citizens be allowed to refuse to do national service due to religious or cultural reasons? The Jihadists don't allow women to participate in national service. How will the party handle such matters?
The Jehovas don't recognize a government and refuse to do national service? If allowed to do so, many will convert to Jehovah to avoid national service. How does the party intend to deal with this issue?

Is it a new political organization?

Transformation of the front or formation of a new Party.

I have always believed that ELF-RC was an experiment of democracy. The transformation or formation of a new party will result in a quantum leap in mobilization, organization and consolidation of its members. This, however, does not mean that I do not have concern, issues and problems with the process.

(1) Commission:

(a) Is the commission independent, i.e. not influenced by

the current leadership of the RC.

(b) What is the role and influence of the commission in

recruiting members, drafting program and constitution

of the party?

(a) Are the leadership, cadres and members of the RC

considered as new members?

(b) Is RC transforming from front to a party?

Esteemed members of the commission, bayto, and visitors:

On behalf of meskerem, I would like to thank you all for participating in today's Virtual Town Hall Meeting. We believe it was a great success.There were 7345 views until 8:32 pm EST. It was civilized and serious. A new way of doing politics has emerged.

We were able to learn about the Joint Party Formation Commission, its membership, its role and its relationship with ELF-RC. We don't intend to give a summary of the discussion because such evaluation should be left/given to you all.

There were few questions that were not answered, some questions raised more questions but most were answered.

The forum will be open for discussion for the next weeks. Please do visit the forum, post your questions and share your views. The commission has volunteered to visit the forum often, answer questions and discuss with us all for the next two weeks. The commission promises that it will not leave any question unanswered. ( they must be desprate or they must be for real...)

Regardless of what we might think of the commission, the commission has ushered a new political era and raised the bar. Transparency and paticipatory. We all have declared that the old days of doing politics are over; we all have witnessed that the best politics is politics that is open and participatory.

We now invite the commission and all participants to give concluding statements/comments. The commission told us that comments, inputs, criticisms of the participants will be taken seriously and will be discussed by the commission.
