Forum password protection

You can password protect a forum by following the instructions below:

  1. Login to your Website Toolbox account.
  2. Click the Services link.
  3. In the Services menu, click the Forum link.
  4. Click the Organize link.
  5. In the Organize menu, click the Forums link.
  6. Click the Manage link next to the forum of your choice.
  7. In the Manage menu, click the Edit link.
  8. Check the checkbox next to Password protect.
  9. Enter your desired password in the text box that appears.
  10. Save the settings.

You can password protect the entire service by following the instructions below:

  1. Login to your Website Toolbox account.
  2. Click the Services link.
  3. In the Services menu, click the Forum link.
  4. Click the Settings link.
  5. In the Settings menu, click the Security link.
  6. Check the checkbox next to Use password protection.
  7. Enter your desired password in the text box that appears.
  8. Save the settings.

Note Note: Leaving the password field blank will turn password protection off.
