: Approving and declining posts

Post Approval allows you to approve each post before it goes live on your message board.

You can enable or disable post approval by following the directions below:

  1. Login to your Website Toolbox account.
  2. Click the General Settings link.
  3. Check the checkbox next to Require approval of new threads and replies under the Security options section.

You can approve or decline posts in your message board by following the directions below:

  1. Login to your message board account. (Must be a moderator or administrator account.)
  2. Click the link next to the "Pending approval:" text towards the top of the main page in your message board. If there is no "Pending approval:" text that means the appropriate permissions are not set for the moderator account.
  3. Select the appropriate thread from the list.
  4. Click the "Approve" or "Delete" link next to the post.
