: Chat room hangs at connection stage

If the chat room loads correctly but hangs on the Connecting stage, it is likely that your access to the chat room is being blocked by the firewall installed on your computer. Check your firewall settings to ensure that your browser has full access to the Internet and that port 2001 and 2002 are opened for TCP communication.

Notes:

• Your firewall is not blocking access If you are prompted with a login window of any kind.
• If the chat room does not load at all, ensure that you have java installed.
