: Inserting an image into your post

You can insert an image into a post on your message board by using the Toolbar, File Attachments, EasyCode, or HTML.

File Attachments

Note Note: File attachments must be enabled in your message board to use this method. More information.

Using this method will allow you to upload an image from your computer into a message board post.

  1. Visit your message board.
  2. If your message board has forums, click the title of the forum you would like to post in.
  3. Click the New Topic link.
  4. Click the Manage Attachments link.
  5. Click the Browse button to select the image you would like to upload.
  6. Click the Upload button.
  7. Once the image has been uploaded, close the pop-up window.
  8. Once you are finished creating your post, click the Post Message button.

Note Note: Using this method requires that the "Text editor for posting messages" option in the General Settings section of the Website Toolbox members area be set to EasyCode or WYSIWYG.

This method will allow you to insert an image into your post if the image has already been uploaded to a website and has a full URL that you can use.

  1. Visit your message board.
  2. If your message board has forums, click the title of the forum you would like to post in.
  3. Click the New Topic link.
  4. Click the Insert Image Insert Image icon.
  5. Enter the Image URL and click the OK button.
  6. The image should now automatically be loaded into your post.
  7. Once you are finished creating your post, click the Post Message button.

EasyCode

Note Note: Using this method requires that the "Enable EasyCode" option in the General Settings section of the Website Toolbox members area be activated.

This method will allow you to insert an image into your post if the image has already been uploaded to a website and has a full URL that you can use.

  1. Visit your message board.
  2. If your message board has forums, click the title of the forum you would like to post in.
  3. Click the New Topic link.
  4. In the message textbox, type the following code:
    [IMG]IMAGE URL GOES HERE[/IMG]
  5. Replace the text "IMAGE URL GOES HERE" with the full URL to the image.
  6. Once you are finished creating your post, click the Post Message button.

HTML

Note Note: Using this method requires that the "Enable HTML Filter" option in the General Settings section of the Website Toolbox members area be turned off.

This method will allow you to insert an image into your post if the image has already been uploaded to a website and has a full URL that you can use.

  1. Visit your message board.
  2. If your message board has forums, click the title of the forum you would like to post in.
  3. Click the New Topic link.
  4. In the message textbox, type the following code:
    <img src="IMAGE URL GOES HERE">
  5. Replace the text "IMAGE URL GOES HERE" with the full URL to the image.
  6. Once you are finished creating your post, click the Post Message button.
