Is a website needed to use the tools?

A website is not needed to use any of the tools at Website Toolbox except the Website Statistics. Excluding the Website Statistics tool, all of the tools we provide give you a URL that can be used to access the tool.

When you are signing up for Website Toolbox, you will be asked for your website URL. If you do not have a website URL, you can simply enter any website URL that you want (e.g. http://www.google.com). You can then leave the website name field blank.
