: Automatic message board or forum password login

You can automatically log a user into a password protected forum or message board by sending them to a custom login URL.

You can make a hidden request to the custom login URL by using a small image tag, a small iframe tag, or a high-level programming language. Sample code for the Perl, PHP, JavaScript, and Java/JSP programming languages is available here.

The login URL is:
http://www.websitetoolbox.com/tool/mb/USERNAME?forum=FORUM&section=FORUM&pass=PASSWORD&action=enterlogin&done=1&remember=REMEMBER

1. USERNAME should be replaced by your Website Toolbox username.
   
2. FORUM should be replaced by the ID number of the forum.
   
3. PASSWORD should be replaced by the password of the forum.
   
4. REMEMBER should be kept blank or replaced by the word "checked". The latter will cause the user to automatically be logged into the forum each time they visit.

If you are setting up the auto-login for the entire message board and not a separate forum, then the FORUM and SECTION should be left blank.

Note: All symbols within the field values must be probably encoded. For example, spaces must be replaced by %20. More information...
