Record-breaking crowd at Levon's "Sweet Corn Festival" at Gill Family Farm yesterday. For as far as the eye could see - there were families enjoying the music, the hay rides, the face painting, the hay tunnel, choosing their pumpkins, standing in line for the homemade corn chowder and waiting in anticipation for the next pumpkin to be shot from the cannon! Deep gratitude and many thanks to: Cam...pers Barn of Kingston, NY State Police, Ulster County Sheriff's Office, NYS DOT, the volunteer staff of Levon Helm Studios, Jordan Schor's catering, Tonche Transit, 100.1 Radio Woodstock and our amazing opening band - Spirit Family Reunion. (We WILL be hosting them at a Ramble soon!). Thank you to the Gill Family for hosting the event. Thank you to neighbors for contending with the confusion and traffic. Thank you - above - for the weather. Lots of happy faces. Lots of happy kids with new drumsticks. I can go to the day job today feeling very proud and happy to be able to work with such a legend and to be able to live in a County like Ulster - with its majestic beauty and wonderful residents! See y'all next year. Thank you, Levon!!!!! We love you.

This is something my husband and I have looked forward to for years. We realized that in 22 years of marriage we have never taken a vacation just the two of us. Should we go to the Bahamas? no. A cruise? no. Paris? no. Nothing would make us happier than to attend a Ramble. We will be there this weekend and we are able to attend the concert the next day, a two for one! We are so excited and blessed that we share this love of Levon's music. Can't wait til Saturday! We did see Levon in Chicago a couple of years ago and it remains the favorite of many many concerts for us. Wishing you many more healthy years of making music,we love you Levon!!

So ever since I was introduced to my now fiencee and expectant father I have herd about this unkel of his that was famous and in The Band I didnt know what it was till tonight my stepmother introduced me to your web page she's a big fan I guess anyhow I just wanted to say hello from your sisters daughter Gracie and her boys Dennis Derrick and my fiencee Brandon there all really big supporters of your music and flaunt your stuff to everybody even though you don't really no each other thanks for your time.

You haven't heard real music until you've heard this man. He's a master at everything he does. Doesn't matter if he's singing, playing an instrument, or acting...he always steals the show. Nobody can even come close to this man's talent. Love you Levon!

Big fan of yours for many years now. Saw you in that James Lee Burke movie the other night. The one made from one of his always outstanding novels. You did a great job in the movie as a Confederate Officer. I have wondered how you your health is. I am getting so damn old (74) I am just pleased to wake up. I too had to take bankruptcy and have had problems but at least the cancer thing has stayed away other than prostate. I wish you the very best Mr. Helm and I sincerely mean that. Back in the day you were the "Band" in my mind. Take care.

Another superb night of music at the Fillmore in Siver Spring Md. Not nearly as quiet and intimate as the Barn, but a great show nonetheless. Hope you all got to enjoy some of our homemade crabcakes on the bus back home. We can't wait to get up north to our next Ramble. We got to sit up in the balcony with a local legendary DJ from WHFS named Damien who regaled us with stories of Frank Zappa and countless others. A great night indeed.
