Comments: I am very appreciative of the information you have made available. My mom's family has been in the Kenedy/San Antonio Texas area for century's now. And the more time I have taken to find out about my Tejano/Tejana ancestors, the more I've learned to appreciate the hardships they withstood to be where they/we are today. Although most of us do not live on the land that our ancestors fought or worked, it is beautiful non the less. And I will as a Tejana always take pride in knowing that it's partly due to a group of proud people that called themselves Tejanos/Tejanas since way back before me. We are a beautiful and hardworking people. I will not spend time regretting that we as a whole did not get our share of what may have been our land.
