I am asking God for places to minister through music. I recorded a southern gospel style album a few months ago and I am looking for places to share ministry through it.

You can preview my music at http://www.youtube.com/allenhestermusic

If you would like to host me for a concert or if you know of someone else who would, please don't hesitate to contact me.

As of the writing of this email I have the following dates open on Sundays:

My name is Dennis Lackie.

When I was saved some 30 plus years ago, I did not receive this message (or anything that would lead me to this understanding). I was saved in a small Assembly of God Church and the Pastor and his wife were truly wonderful people. They did their best to help me in uncountable ways. I don't believe however that they realized that I did not understand that I needed to keep the Cross of Christ before me every day.
I tried the best I knew how to serve the Lord through studying the Bible, regular Church attendance, playing a little music in church, and basically did whatever the Pastor suggested.

However, when the pastor was called to another church, I went on to attend Rhema Bible Training Center. Looking back on what I garnered from the time I spent there; it seems like I felt more impressed to have faith in myself rather than faith in Christ. I am not speaking ill of this training institution for it may very well be that I just was not receiving what they were trying to teach.

Improper thinking led me to improper believing, improper prayer, improper study,(which was inevitable because without Christ as the object of my faith, the Holy Spirit would not help me to understand what I was trying to study) and ultimately improper living. I became a backslidden wreck within a few years. I tried to find my way back to the Lord but I believe the misconceptions which I had developed concerning how to live for God, hindered my efforts to again live for the Lord.
I prayed, I sought God by trying to read the Bible. It seemed that the Bible was in another language almost, and it just put my thinking between a rock and a hard spot as the saying goes. Though I had repented and asked forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ I still had all the conscience of past sin and knew inside that I was still not right with God. After years of failure in regards to getting right with God and having any kind of sense of being right with God, I was gripped by fear that I was going to Hell and there was nothing I could do about it. I finally, one day just gave up trying. I recall walking around in my driveway aimlessly, and had been trying to pray. (Which was like talking to a wall) Finally, I said to myself, “okay, I guess I'm not going to make it to Heaven. Maybe I have committed the unpardonable sin or something, I just didn't know,” and now I felt I was obviously on my way to Hell like a locomotive, steaming its way down a hill without an Engineer.
Finally, I told myself, “right now I am right here, on this beautiful world that God has created; I am a free moral agent, and I can do what I want and I can say what I want. Even though I know the day is coming when I will be burning in Hell and I probably will not be free to Praise God, right now I can Praise God if I want to. And I do want to and I am going to because I know he is worthy of all Praise.” I started praising God and thanking Jesus for the wonderful sacrifice which he had made on the Cross. In all of about three seconds, the Holy Spirit fell upon me and I knew God still cared. He took my sins and gave me His Righteousness. He took my death and gave me His Life. He took the Curse of the Law and gave me Liberty. The peace and rest which the Lord gave me is indescribable. God has forgiven me for Jesus Christ’s sake and I have come to realize that all I need; is in the sacrifice of Christ at Calvary.

However, I went through a short period of time following this experience that I begin to be worried that I could again backslide. After all, I had been sincere in my efforts to live for the Lord before, but I still had found it impossible to live for the Lord as I knew I should.

I prayed and asked the Lord, “if in your all knowing ways can see that I will backslide again at some point, then please just take me now. I don’t want to live just to find myself again in a backslidden condition. I do not want to go to hell. Please help me.”

Well, He didn’t kill me, but He did show me something which would prevent me from ever backsliding. At the time, I thought this to be something which I had came up with on my own in order to just keep me close to the Lord until I found the answer to my dilemma. But now I know it was actually the Lord showing me how to have continuous victory, every day of my life.

I started thanking Jesus every morning for shedding His Blood to atone for my sin (and I do mean verbally). I also thanked Jesus Christ at the same time for providing Righteousness and Redemption for me, which I know I could in no wise afford. I did this not only in the morning, but in the evening also. Most of the time I would thank Him at various times during the day also.

I did this in a desperate attempt to stay close to the Lord, so as not to in any way fall away from the Lord.

The Bible started making more sense to me than I could have imagined. I could read almost anywhere and it just seem to jump off the pages into my understanding.

I began having a desire to pray and commune with the Lord. And the prayer was no longer like a job but was enjoyable.(Praise God)

The Lord begin to reveal things to me from His Word, which I had never known.

I now realize that thanking the Lord Jesus (from the heart-sincerely) for what He accomplished at Calvary, on a continual basis (1 Cor. 15:2), keeps us standing on the platform which the Holy Spirit uses to perform every good, and powerful work in our lives. In fact we are sanctified only by continually trusting in what Christ accomplished on our behalf at Calvary.

I believe the Lord is leading me to let as many people know as is possible; that it’s all in Christ and what he did on the Cross. This is the very foundation which the Holy Spirit stands upon, whenever he is moving in someone’s life. Whether it is for victorious living, understanding the Word of God, Healing, or anything else that I could name. If we are to receive ANYTHING from God, it WILL BE done by the Holy Spirit ONLY because of what Jesus Christ has done via his sacrifice of Himself on the Cross.

It’s all in Christ, it’s all in Christ, it’s all in Christ. Praise God .

I have not sent this message to you because I believe you to be lacking in some way but because I pray that you are dedicated to the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

May the Merciful Lord of all Blessings, Bless you always

How did you find us? Through my grandmother Ada Edge Parker

Dear Folks, I visited your church and burial yard some years ago.
I was in search of the gravesite of my great grandmother
                    ADA EDGE SINGELTON PARKER
Over my long life, I'm 68 and my mother's Virginia Allen Edmonds 86,
she has filled my heart with stories of her beloved grandmother.  She could tell me that she was a Huckleberry Farmer, or so she believed and that she was at the heart of the establishment of the chuch house
at Sweet Water Branch in Conway. S.C.  So, some years back I made the trip down and found her grave with the assistance of a dear lady in the office.  My heart was touched to see her grave, now sandwiched between the new structures and to know that without them realizing it many people see her modest grave and do not know the heart of such a dearly beloved woman rests there.  I hope to return and dress the gravesite again, tidy it up and also I intend to write the history with my mother of this simple and hardworking woman who made such an impact on my mother's life and then in turn on mine.  She had little but her spirit and love of God and she imbedded that in the hearts of all who knew her.  My mother recalled for me last week a vision of the day she was burried there in that still known gravesite.  She said so many people cirlced the gravesite to honor her and that you could see in the
earth where they stood..THE TEARS IN THE SAND.  So, I share with you and anyone who wishes the desire to learn more about the history of your church, from the outset, any stories that may have been carried down and some of the deep history of the families who started this then tiny church.  All the best to all the folks there, Sherry Dershimer

Dear friends.  Please pray for our nine-year-old ministry (started in 2001) -- http://www.tjlit.org (Testifying Jesus’ Love in Truth).

We make free resumes, teach free English weekly, and do free translations/interpretations in 17 languages to any church or organization that asks us to. We also give out 3000 tracts each week, and we get people who are abused, have mental illness and other problems into churches and places where they can receive help, and get kids into free dentists.

We love the Lord, and love the ministry he has blessed us with. We are deeply committed to fighting racism and poverty.

Please send us your prayers (Email: reachus@tjlit.org.), and pass our site to friends, missionaries and family, as there are many who are lonely; and, we are thrilled when Christians connect. As the world becomes more hostile towards Christians; it is essential that we connect.

At the moment we are trying to set up a pen pal club so people from all over can write to others and develop friendships.

Nobody should be lonely. If you read this and are lonely, please contact us and we will do our best to get you into a good church wherever you are in the world.

Please also click on and read the Bible verse of the day, and say a prayer for us.

Is there anyway we can help you? Please contact us.

Praise God, contact us if you are lonely, and God bless you.

To our American friends: Please read article 51 on our site “Things I love about America.”

PS. Sorry to the person whose guestbook we have just signed. If we have taken up a lot of space and not commented, again, sorry. The fact that we have left a message is proof, in our opinion, that you are good.  God bless you. Ian.

Dear Pastor

My name is Garth, I got your email from your church site, and I feel God gave me an idea to present to you to bring this nation back to him. If churches, have prayer services one or two nights for the rest of the year to be a witness unto the people that are not Christians, and invite them to church, where each Christian comes up front of the congregation, and pray for this nation to come back to God, and pray in groups.
Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
I feel God is calling Christians to pray, come back to him, and stand up for Jesus, because these are the end times, and Jesus is coming soon.
Also pastors and churches need to preach about Repentance, Salvation, Sin, Holy Spirit, Hell, and the cross of Christ Jesus, and not just preaching what people want to hear. Our nation right now is just like the Israelites when they fell away from God.
2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
New World Order-Lou Dobbs-CNN-2009
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GPvaY4-B0I4
I believe that God is also allowing the economic collapse and Natural Disasters in this nation to get peoples attention. If we as a nation do not heed to God’s word now, God will allow it to get worse. People are not listening to what God is trying to say. Like in says in Matthew 25:42-45 42. For I was hungered; and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 43. I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? 45. Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
Proverbs 21:13. Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.
Proverbs 28:27. He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse.
The church has gotten away from its responsibility in helping the people that need help. Too many churches are conforming to the world in what they preach, because they want to make people happy, but not preach the truth. Churches should not just help their own members, but God commanded that we help and love everyone. What if Jesus called your church, and had needs, would you turn him away? When a person needs help and you turn them away, God won’t help them in their time of need. God commanded us to help those in need. Remember, God will give back when you give from your heart. God has taken his hand off a lot of churches, because they stopped helping the poor.
I feel God wants me to reach out churches in the United States to show God’s love, and that I care about this nation.
Matthew 9:11 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners? 12. But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
The Church needs to send members into neighborhoods to reach the lost; as Jesus commanded.
1 Corinthians 13:3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
Romans 14:12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
I feel led to suggest to you to show the movie Fireproof with Kirk Cameron about marriage at church; as I guarantee it will help so many marriages. I feel now is a good time, and it could help many families stay together.
http://www.fireproofthemovie.com/ Fireproof: Official Site and movie trailer.

Thank you for your time, and I look foreword to hearing from you soon.
