Yes, Pastor Comments: Dear Pastor My name is Garth, I got your email from your church site, and I feel God gave me an idea to present to you to bring this nation back to him. If churches, have prayer services one or two nights for the rest of the year to be a witness unto the people that are not Christians, and invite them to church, where each Christian comes up front of the congregation, and pray for this nation to come back to God, and pray in groups. Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. I feel God is calling Christians to pray, come back to him, and stand up for Jesus, because these are the end times, and Jesus is coming soon. Also pastors and churches need to preach about Repentance, Salvation, Sin, Holy Spirit, Hell, and the cross of Christ Jesus, and not just preaching what people want to hear. Our nation right now is just like the Israelites when they fell away from God. 2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. If we as a nation do not heed to God’s word now, God will allow it to get worse. People are not listening to what God is trying to say. Like in says in Matthew 25:42-45 42. For I was hungered; and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 43. I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44. Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. Proverbs 21:13. Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard. Proverbs 28:27. He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse. The church has gotten away from its responsibility in helping the people that need help. Too many churches are conforming to the world in what they preach, because they want to make people happy, but not preach the truth. Churches should not just help their own members, but God commanded that we help and love everyone. What if Jesus called your church, and had needs, would you turn him away? When a person needs help and you turn them away, God won’t help them in their time of need. God commanded us to help those in need. Remember, God will give back when you give from your heart. God has taken his hand off a lot of churches, because they stopped helping the poor. I feel God wants me to reach out churches in the United States to show God’s love, and that I care about this nation. Matthew 9:11 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners? 12. But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. The Church needs to send members into neighborhoods to reach the lost; as Jesus commanded. 1 Corinthians 13:3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. Romans 14:12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. I feel led to suggest to you to show the movie Fireproof with Kirk Cameron about marriage at church; as I guarantee it will help so many marriages. I am in contact Daily with sweet Dean Comments: Dear Church Family: My husband, John and I have moved here --permanently we pray. John had worked at Southeastern Health Plus previously....I had been divorced 26 years--planned to never marry again. John had been divorced only a couple of years. BUT, our good Lord had a plan and HE put us together as husband and wife....WOW!! What a wonderful love and marriage! John felt an obligation to move to Georgia due to my daughter, Megan, who has brain damage....HOWEVER, God had plans for that situation, also. Megan is now married to a young man with Autism --they are living, by their choice, with a woman who had just lost her husband to death. And, Megan's father is now stepping in and helping them...PRAISE THE LORD. God has given us a wonderful opportunity to live next to Dean Mixon. WE just need each other. John works daily....I had worked all my life, but have not been physically able to work within the last six months due to a rupture in a disc and extremely severe arthritis. Due to this illness, I lost my medical insurance and my vehicle (which I don't miss at all).....I am a "home body" and love being a wife and friend to my neighbors. I do ask specifically for prayer daily: 1. For my children, Megan and Joshua. They are now in the "world" and very vulnerable. 2. For my sweet husband, John. He is a Godly man. He has six stents in his heart. 3. That we can work out some type of medical insurance situation so I can go see a doctor for the bad arthritis, low iron, and the little "spells" that I have (dizziness, low blood pressure). My mother Sandy, who I understand attends your services regularly, said that she really enjoyed the "Anchor Men".
