How did you learn about Seine Bight.Com Google Comments: The site is wonderful. Reading the list of teachers brought back memories, good ones. Seeing my father, Benjamin Ciego named among his peers brought back memories of all the teachers. I remembered many of them growing up. Many are gone, but they are not forgotten. Their contribution to the education of rural Belize must be acknowledged. They brought knowledge and education to places where the conditions were at times difficult, but they preserved to educate in spite of it. In my humble of opinion, the current leadership of Belize owe a debt to those early pioneers because they were willing to endure hardships because they believed in the power of education. After reading the name of many of relatives, I gladly acknowledge my roots - birthplace of great-grandmother.

How did you learn about Seine Bight.Com Found it on Google Comments: My name is Cynthia Garcia-Sallis and my father was born in Dangriga or Stan Creek. His name is Oscar Alan Garcia who live in Los Angeles, California. I was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras but grew up in the Bannacca Bay Island (Guanaja). I do not speak Garifuna but I am interested in learning all I can of the culture. Growing up in Honduras, people were not always very kind to people of Garifuna descent. Most of the people that I meet from Belize say that I would be classified as Creole. Can someone explain this to me, as to why? Anyone that would like to communicate with me about this, please contact me. I live in Atlanta, Georgia. I have one son and he was born on 19 November and my father told me of how special that date is to his people. I am happy to learn more about my culture.
