How did you learn about Seine Bight.Com researching

Comments:

I am an African American (North) seminary student.  I have a deep interest in Garifuna culture.  I had a chance to visit The Honduras several years ago and stay in the home of a Garifuna family.  It is my desire to return and continue to research the culture of my people.

How did you learn about Seine Bight.Com Web Search

Comments:
I am a past man of All Hallows in Dublin Ireland. I was there at the same time as Fr. Lazarus Augustine, though I left before ordination. I had the opportunity to get to know him a bit then. He stayed with me and my family for the Christmas of 1980 and we still talk about him, though we haven't seen him since he finished his studies here. I only just found out about his passing the other day when I saw the most recent issue of the All Hallows College Newsletter, and I couldn't believe that it happened nearly 3 years ago. I just wanted to acknowledge his life and to pass on my sympathies and prayers to all those who knew him.

Thanks,
Jim Kelly,

How did you learn about Seine Bight.Com Searching for Honduran Consulado

Comments:
The information provided in very informative and gave me a better understanding of the Garifuna history. What I would like to see is photos of the people from the beginning, the people of the island(s) that they escaped to, and the present day. I'm really interested in the mixture of races of the Garifuna.

According to MasterFisherman Balbino Palacio, - Seine Bight village was ideal for fishing but the peninsula was not so ideal for farming hence they found it neccesary to cross the lagoon west to the main land for more fertile farming land. They farmed near-by and went as far inland to where it is now George Town (then called Wahaleaf / California).
