Comments: Congratulations Father Brian on 10 Years as a Priest. I was at St. Joe's for you first mass with us. If I remember right, you were 10 minutes late, and that was the best 10 minutes we ever lost. When Marlene and I were planning our wedding, I contacted you to be a backup in case our priest could not Celebrate the Mass for some reason. You graciously said yes. The Lord works in Mysterious ways, and as you well know the Lord had other plans for our Mass, and you became the Celebrant. "The first shall be last and the last shall be first". I am so thankful that you were the one who celebrated our Mass. I could not have ask for anyone better. You were perfect. As you remember, our wedding was on Saint Patrick's Day (17 March 2007) and I still see you with those Shamrocks on your head saying Grace. We all had a great time, and we know you did also. We have it all on Video. Father Brian, because of you, I have journeyed farther into my faith, with Scripture Study and EME. I would never have thought of doing this before you came. God chose well, when he chose you. "Many are called, but few are chosen". Father Brian, you are the leader of The Holy Trinity Parish Family, and we hope you will be for many, many years to come. We can not imagine Holy Trinity without you. I will always remember your Birthday, because it is the same as my son's, and you both are Left Handed. Father Brian we again offer our Congratulations on your 10 Years as a Priest and May God Bless You And Keep You Safe. If you ever need our help, don't be a stranger. Marlene and Gary Hock
Comments: Congratulations Fr. Brian on your 10 year anniversary as a priest! You are such a gifted pastor. To see the mystery of the Trinity that plays out in your works every day is an amazing and wonderful thing to witness! And to pastor to all of us can not be easy but somehow you make us feel like it's okay and even better than okay. You pastor to us in which was once three seperate worship sites that you have successfully brought into one, and you did this by being one with all of us. What an honor and a blessing to be a part of this Holy Trinity parish at this exciting time with our Fr. Brian Cokonougher leading, guiding and growing our community. Thank you, thank you and thank you! (To name just a few reasons): For answering this calling For being an awesome homilist (opening up the Word to us in simple, yet extrodinarilly, insightful ways) I heard someone say once, "Fr. Brian could open the phone book and come up with a beautiful homily" For helping us to become more attentive to each other and ... For just being yourself in all your humor and gentleness. (It is a gift to remain humble when you have all the training and experience that you have.) May the Lord continue to bless you and keep you on this path. I can't even imagine what you will do to top the last ten years but knowing you, you will keep coming up with the ideas, plans, and the unique gift to follow through divinely. Best wishes Fr. Brian and congratulations!
