Sorry, but I must make the following correction:
Again our parish website has referred to a Solemnity as a Feast. The website has referred to The Solemnities of Pentecost, Holy Trinity, and Corpus Christi as Feast days. This reference is incorrect! Yes Feast days and Solemnities are both important days. However, our faith has an order to it. And so do the rankings of our liturgies. The order of ranking from lesser importance to most importance is as follows: Optional Memorials, Obligatory Memorials, Feasts, Solemnities, Holy Days. All Sundays and Holy Days are days of obligation. Hopefully this clears up the confusion.

In Christ,
Gregory Pearson

Hello,
I live far away now but I was just watching a movie on Henri Nouwen and it reminded me of how much I miss Fr. Rene Desmarais.  I am not active in the Church now, but whatever faith I have now, or had in the past, I owe to him.  In any case I can't view the main page that this post is linked from.  If anyone could send me a password I would like to see whats on the website. Peace Nolan

If you are interested in viewing the Holy Trinity Bulletin from the past few weeks, scroll to the bottom of the 1st page of our Holy Trinity web-site.

You will also be able to sign up to receive the bulletin each week by going to the Bulletin Publisher web-site.   The links to both are posted.

I am sure this information will be helpful for many of our parishioners.  Thank you for asking!

I notice in the margin of our bulletins it mentions that we can view this bulletin online at http://www.catholicweb.com, but when I try to do that I get the message that:

"The bulletin publisher for this parish is not currently participating in the eChurch Bulletin program. Contact this church at (810) 984-2689 and let them know that you would like to participate in the eChurch Bulletin program. For questions, the parish can contact our support department."

It appears that the http://www.catholicweb.com has a lot of useful info and there are a lot of church bulletins available on there from all over the country.  You can even have them emailed to your inbox weekly.  Is it costly to have our bulletin appear on this site?  If we have no plans to do this, maybe we should have the reference removed from bottom of the bulletins?  Just a thought.

We DO enjoy the http://www.porthuronsjuo.com web site - very informative and well done.  Thank you.
