Hey Nick,
We finally got online here in Darulamon, Afghanistan. I cant even begin to thank you enough for all you do for all of us. You are a true American hero. As platoon sergeant, or as I am known, "Platoon daddy", I just wanted to reach out and tell you how much the things you do mean to all of us and our families.
Without people like you, we could not do the job we do. I consider it a true privledge to have met you, and an honor to call you friend.\

Hindu Kush,  Panjshir Province

Dear OnSight Support

I am a Civil Affairs Officer in the Army.  I am serving in Afghanistan on a Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) where I am the Deputy Commander. My PRT is in the Hindu Kush in Panjshir Province In Afghanistan.  Some of the projects we have been involved with are drilling wells for a source of fresh drinking water, building schools for both boys and girls, training the National Police, providing medical care to the people. It is hard to imagine a place that does not have electricity, water, telephones and other public utilities that we are so accustom to back in the U.S.  In so many ways it is more like the turn of the 20th century rather than the 21th century here.  It is beautiful here.  The mountains rise to over 15,000 feet and our Forward Operation Base is located at 6900 feet elevation...
I am sending  you this letter and Thanking You very much for all your letters and donated goods I received around Christmas-time; sorry I have been slow in my response. I am sending you a link to our photographic web site with this letter.
Thank You for your support.  I hope you all had a Very Happy New Year !
It is always good to know that so many people back home wish us well and pray for our safe return.
                Thank You ...

Dear Mr. Kester,

On behalf of our students at Oysterponds we would like to Thank You for giving our students and community a way to outreach to our soldiers.  Helping our soldiers brought a great awareness to our students and realization that any small donation that they give can make a difference in a soldier's life.
So I would like to again Thank You for giving us the opportunity to help make a difference!

Hey Nick!
Thanks so much for sending Robbie his bullet proof vest.  With him being away right now, he can't sign this himself.  He really appreciates it!  Keep up the great work!
