Where are you from? Santa Rosa, CA, USA Would you dive with Scuba Gods again? Yes Comments: I have only been certified for a year, with just a few dives before I met Jay. I had four great dives with Jay, and they improved my skills, while seeing lots of amazing sea life and underwater scenery. They are definitely my best dives to date. All were shore dives, in the south Maui area. During the course of those dives we saw several manta rays (on two dives), an eagle ray, many turtles. We saw a huge octopus. We also had a shark encounter, where it circled us in a cave, that was awesome. I had asked Jay to find a shark, if possible, and he did! Everything was at a pace perfect for me, and I was able to spend progressively longer time underwater on each dive (the last dive was an hour and five minutes). Jay found so many amazing creatures, including a rare lionfish. I learned a lot of dive techniques from Jay as well. I look forward to returning to Maui soon and doing some more diving with Scuba Gods.

Jay was very professional, yet laid back and easy going. He made the whole experience a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend Jay to anyone who is interested in diving or becoming certified. Where are you from? Coarsegold, Ca Would you dive with Scuba Gods again? DEFINATELY! Comments: Jay is the best!!! I have dove with him on two different vacations and he is great! He is very knowledgeable and is great at keeping it simple. Nothing overwhelming, very easy to understand. He checks the gauges of his divers all the time and is very watchful and safe. I have seen the most beautiful things in the sea and Jay knows all the hot spots. If you are a beginner and nervous, don't be. Jay takes care of everything. And if you are experienced an just looking for a dive buddy who knows the best dive spots on Maui, Jay is your guy!

Yep  Comments: So I knew I wanted to go to Hawaii for scuba diving, and trust me, I looked up and emailed almost every single dive shop. I ended up choosing Scuba Gods, and I'm so glad I did. I took two courses, open water and advanced open water, and they were both awesome!! We saw eels, fish, crabs, turtles, a shark =D, corals, sea urchins, star fish, frogfish, leaf scorpion fish, octopus, manta ray, shrimp, sea cucumber, shells, ummm and it was awesome Jay was very patient with me freaking out about mask clearing, and falling over in the waves. Haha! He definitly knows what he is doing, and I felt 100% safe diving with him. You really feel like you are confident in knowing what you are doing as well after taking a course with Jay. What more can I say? The shrimp were cuuute. Ok that's all. If you are deciding between Scuba Gods and someone else, email me, and I'll convince you to go with Jay =D Do it. |
