My family and I have a 6 Bedroom 3 Bathroom house with a HUGE backyard. When we began to consider the kinds of dogs we wanted everybody had their own idea from small to large... But when I mentioned a Great Dane we had a winner. We tried to adopt from Rocky Mountain Great Dane rescue here in the Denver area and we where denied because my 2 sons are only 5 yrs and 2 yrs which I think is silly seeing as how we have so much room and love to give our DANE not to mention the fact that we have NO other animals... However rules are rules. Now we are back on our mission and have thankfully found this site which we hope will be the answer to our Great Dane Dreams... I am an Iraq and Afgan vet and work with disabled veterans and I believe a Dane could be just the cure to bring a smile to the face of some of America's Heros. THANKS FOR SUPPORTING THE BREED and having this site available to find healthy happy puppy and adult Danes your dedication makes you an amazing person...

Comments: Just stopped by to look at your beautiful Danes. We have a 6 month old Black Male Dane (Our first one) and love him to death. Awesome breed!!! Our male (Raynes) is a spoiled rotten brat. We are hooked on the breed now and are looking for a blue male Dane to share our home with Raynes and our children. Hope we can find the right one.
Thanks, John, Amy and family

Thank you for breeding such a fine Great Dane and we'll keep you posted as he grows.

Hi I have looked at your site many times because I have wanted a Great Dane since I was a little girl. I finally have a house and yard that is big enough to have one. I was looking at the adults that are available today and came across Leonidas! He is the most handsome dog I have ever seen I emailed and called and left a message expressing my interest in him. I am super excited to hear back so I can possibly be his new mom!

Comments: Terri Thanks so much for the newest member of our pack. Brewster is doing awesome and fitting in great. See you in October for the reunion, and I promise I'll send pictures of everyone before then. Thanks again The Boothe Family

Comments: I am looking at this website for the first time today. It is very comforting to see all of the new puppies as we just lost our 5 & 1/2 years old Harlequin. His name was Cowboy and he was the sweetest and most handsome Dane EVER! He unfortunately developed a very aggressive lymphoma that took his life last Thursday. While we are still mourning his loss, we will be ready at some point to bring another Great Dane into our lives. Meanwhile, we will keep up-to-date with the goings-on at Penrose and come visit one day down the road. Thanks!
Lindsay

Comments: Wow! What a fun time we had at the Reunion on Sunday!!Odin is our first Dane and it was great to meet a couple of his littermates. Here at home with our other dogs he seems so huge. At 6 months old, next to the adults at the Reunion we can see how much more he has to go! Can't wait for next year
Here's the link to our Photobucket album of that day. There are pictures and videos:

Comments: Hi Terri, Just thought I would give you an update on Boo Radley (fawn 11/10/04). He is hitting the big 06 in November and getting a little more gray in the muzzle. He has gotten so mellow lately you can almost see him roll his eyes at his fellow furry siblings. His last vet visit gauged him at 155 lbs.. He has gone camping, fishing, and hunting in the last few months so its hard to understand how he just keeps putting on the pounds-must be muscle because he doesn't look fat. He still doesn't know he's a dog and we haven't had the heart to break it to him. Again, thanks for giving us our baby. I can't imagine our family without him.

Comments: been a long time since we have written, we got a blue great dane from you almost 4 1/2 years ago... her name is sweet pea and she is such a big part of our family...we just wanted to say thanks for breeding such great dogs. i have a son who is the same age as sweet pea, and we also have 2 year old twin girls. the first question asked when i go in to change the twins in the morning is "where is sweet pea" she plays with the kids and everyone that meets her says what a great dog she is.
hope your reunion goes well, we are in ma. so it would be a long way to go.....
have fun and thanks again.

| Hi There, We just heard from Nick H. that a new litter of pups was born in the past few days and that he will be adopting one of the males. Nick's dad, Mike, and I will be caring for the new Grandpup when Nick is travelling from time to time. We can't wait! We all loved his dear Audrey so much and were devastated to lose her. Mike and I totally fell in love with Great Danes due to our experiences with Audrey and we were wondering if there are any females in the litter just born. We were thinking that we might want to adopt one of our very own as well! We do have a Bouvier female that is six years old. I would not anticipate that having a new Dane puppy full time would cause any problem for either dog, but we would appreciate your thoughts and comments. You sound like a wonderful and responsible breeder just judging from all the comments and I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you in advance for your assistance. Jeri Schumacher

Comments: What a wonderful and informative site. The adults and the puppies are all just beautiful. I currently own a 3 year-old spayed female, and have been considering an addition. After all, Danes are wonderful companions! So, after viewing this site and communicating with Terri, I have decided to add to our family. I can't wait to meet our new little boy!

Comments: We picked up our puppy Ms. Jeenkies at the end of June. She has been nothing but a pure joy to our family.
We went to the park for the first time today and I kept hearing from people what a beautiful dog she was. A lady even came up to me and said "I don't really like dogs but I had to come and tell you that that is the most beautiful dog I have ever seen!" She was petting her the whole time
We also got told how gentle and well behaved she was. Part of that is training but part is also good breeding and Terri & Bobby have the best doggies around!
Thank you for making our lives much richer!

Comments: Magnolia is doing very well and the biggest sweetest dog ever! Found out she does not settle well with lamb, so she is purely on chicken now! She has such a personality! She loves her family more than anything, and wants to be with us all the time! She loves the couch, and considers our kids the best thing in the world! However, we bring her out in the front yard with us and she demands to go back inside! Whoever heard of a dog who prefers the couch vs. the outside?! Least we don't have to worry about her running away! Maggie is so awesome!

Comments: Terry & Bobby, It has been a long time since I have updated you. Both Dillinger and Madison are doing great. I can't belive that they are almost 8 yrs old. Just had them at the vet for their yearly check. The doctor said they look very good for their age and no problems with blood work!!! He loves them, well who doesn't. They were perfect weight and everything. They are starting to grey a bit, but don't we all with age. Madison is still as crazy in the snow as she was since she was a puppy.. Dillinger not so much. He and I feel the same way about the snow!!! Well all is well here hope you are doing well also. Blessings, Sherri

Comments: We miss out Penrose Great Dane, Bo, so much. He died recently, and I still go back to your website to visit his puppy pictures. We have since adopted a shelter dog, who is much loved and spoiled. But she is not a Dane - they are such a special breed of dog. At some point I will be looking for another Bo to join our canine family. Wendy Engles Auburn, NE

Comments: Hello I have just learned about the Great Danes you all raise and adopt to good homes. I work in the city of Fountain and one of the firefighter I work with at the fire station has two of your wonderfully friendly and gentle Great Danes. I have always wanted to rescue one or two of these beautifully docile dogs. We are getting ready to move into Woodland Park from Colorado Springs. We will be moving in about two months and we would absolutely love to find out more information about the dogs before we move into a home in Woodland Park so that we will be able to find a home with adequate space, room for running, and what kind of environment these pups do best in. please if you could let us know the pricing for the puppies and adult Great Danes we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your dedication to these animals and the hard work you do to make sure they all go to good homes. The Duncan family is excited to hear from you. Sincerely Adam, Tarah, Riley, and Noah
