This message is for John Grisard Jr. Robinson. I am your mother's cousin, I was with you and your mother when they came to tell her of your father's death. I have lost track of your mother and your Aunt Karen and your Uncle Butch and would really love to reconnect with all of you. You used to play with my son, Anthony Scott, when you were very young, you probably don't remember. You were only a few months apart in age and loved playing together. I still have pictures of you and Anthony at the zoo. If you get this message, please give your Mom my e-mail address and ask her to get in touch with me. pru.fred@gmail.com. Thanks for your help.

Comments: During the Easter Offensive of 1972, myself & a associate were stranded in Qui Nhon. We had driven our jeep from Cam Rhan and three bridges were taken out behind us. We hitched a ride on a Huey, that was headed for Nha Trang. John Paul Vann diverted our pilot & crew to Tuy Hoa, for purposes of an inspection tour of mountain top, microwave communication sites, that had been attacked. My partner and I were working a DOD contract in VN. I just wondered if any of your member pilots recall this incident? I can provide more details if necessary.

Comments: I would like to locate anyone in the scouts with C Troop in Chu Lai 1967 & 1968. I left the end of April 1968. Joe Johnson, Rusty Kiggins, Rocky Pace and Wendell Harkey were good friends. I visited Rusty a few years ago and found that Wendell was killed in a motorcycle accident about 6 or 7 years ago. Tom McCabe was my crew chief. I logged 350 sorties. Tom, I entered all of those in our log book after each one. I don't know what happened to them after that. Please contact me if you remember me. 970-434-7452 e-mail me at billcarguy@skybeam,com

I noticed a note from Bob Pape. I joined the Blues in October 1968. I believe I have a photo of Bob and me standing in front of one our hooches. I was assigned to the mail room while we were in Camp Enari. When we moved to Lane Army Heliport near Qui Non I was reassigned to the Blues. Was wounded in July 69 in the AnLoa Valley. Never did hear what happened to the rest of the Blues. came home OCTOBER 69. Would love to hear from any of you guys.

Mr. Marciniak, I believe I was your crew chief at one point. My memory sucks but... I was the crew chief on 832 & 419 (both Cobras). 419 was the only Cobra with a 20mm cannon in the unit at that time. budpierce1@aol.com
