Love, Love, LOVED you @ Rochester Jazz fest.  I bought Continental Stomp a few years back... but nothing compares to your vocals (and personality) during a live performance.  Kudos!  You made a beautiful night out of rainshowers. :-)

Hey there,  Just wanted to let you know that the band I'm in is playing @ Club Helsinki this weekend, a month before you will be at the same venue, and I'm  playing keyboards and singing "Exactly Like You", my inspiration to sing that from your version.  I'll be @ your show there in June and hope you sing it too! I admire you so much, and hope to meet you. Also I'm bringing my luittle brother, an aspiring fiddler, to hear you. You are GREAT!!!  Don't stop ever, Jessabella

Growing up in a country-only household led to a musical rebellion, of sorts, in my teens. However, after doing a little more growing up, I have barely scratched the surface of my deep and abiding love of western music and the acoustic instruments and voices that define it.  For me, at this age, to find Elana and Whit and the whole genre jumping, is not exactly a homecoming - it's a home-raising.  And it's going to be bigger and better than ever. Thanks for the jazzy, soulful, modern western swing!

Hi Elana

Caught you with the Cowtown boys at The Oakleigh Bowling Club last night (April 4), with a good night had by all. Great venue!
The quaintness of it added to the atmosphere of a truly great musical event.
Hope the rest of your Aussie tour goes well, and that you have more time in the future to enjoy more of our country, and to  entertain us again.
Once again many thanks for the great night of entertainment.

Jon.

It was great to see you at the Continental Club last Friday.  Great show!  More energy than ever.  Since you don't play in Austin as much it is a real treat when you do.  All the best.

Hello from Virginia,
I meet you back stage at the Folk Festival in Richmond,Va. You are a wonderful person to take time and talk to me and encourage me to keep practicing. I believe you had just gotten your new I phone. My friend James Michael took me back stage to meet you. I love the style and the way you play. Maybe some day we can sit and jam a little. Here is a link with me playing with Charlie Daniels.

The reunion song is great-- the writing AND the big bold three-part vocal sections.  Thanks for coming to Coffee Gallery Backstage again!

Not knowing anything just looking for a valentine's date night and your title on ticket master I purchased tickets for two.  This turned out to be the best date night we had in a long time.  Exceptional music and stylish presentation,  we enjoyed the entire performance, purchasing 2 CD's and found more from your web site.  I really enjoyed the cooing voice of Elana an the harmony enhanced the entire song.  You lady really swing in the rafters of entertainment.  Wish we could tour Australia with you.
Albuquerque Kimo theater 2/13/09. Hope to find you in this area again soon.

Hot Club & Elana,

Thank you for a great show at Great Basin in Sparks.  The rest of the world is wondering what I am talking about as it apparently was a secret, or private? show.  It was my first time to hear your stuff.  Is there anything you can't do on the violin?  I particularly liked your new song "Livin Your Dream" or is it "We're so proud of you."  Have you recorded that yet?  I will check i tunes for a download.  Have fun on Tues and in Elko, NV.

I have turned so many people on to Hot Club's music that I have begun to sound like a broken record I suspect.   Great fun, toe tapping stuff that is actually danceable.  I have a large dance club in York, PA and I also am the DJ as well, so this type of music is important to us..  and the industry too.    Country has gone to crap.  Not much different than pop.   Little style, and poor taste in harmonics as well.  Yikes.  Anyway, thanks for the uplifting music.   I am enjoying The Quebe Sisters Band and ol Joey McKenzie right along with you folks.    All the best, and the Happiest of Holidays.                  Wayne

Astrid (my girlfriend) and I met you in Oxford, England in September - I don't expect you to remember (we were struck dumb with awe)- and we bought your CD.  Ooh.  It's byowtiffle. Seeing Hotclub far outshone our expectations.  We only knew you in your previous incarnation (Dev'lish Mary,  Tall Tales) and didn't realise you could get any better.  People in our shop are always getting us to write down the name of your CD.  Please say you'll come back to Truckfest.  We have assembled a posse from Cornwall.  Even better - come and play in Cornwall.  Eden Dome will do.
Taraf De Haidouks rock the party!

I'm waiting anxiously to hear you on tonight's Prairie Home Companion.  I missed a bit of the show because of a screw up with the satellite feed, and had to fumble to switch to an internet hook-up.  Anyway, hopefully I'm not too late.  I've heard wonderful things and hope to hear lots more from you!
